I notice on the CBR Forums front page that it's eltini's 33rd birthday today. I haven't seen him post on here in ages. I thought that we could put together a thread about posters who have gone MIA so that anyone who has any info about them might update us.
A few who come to mind immediately include"
elitini
kirbyesque
Jeddy
Boba Fett
Anyone know anything about where the above have been or how we can contact them about stopping by?
Feel free to add to this list as I am sure I have forgotten people.

Well, I've only been registered a couple of weeks so I'm useless. :(

Make sure that you never leave, so that you don't get added to my list. :)

Boba Fett now goes by the name of Jonathan but hasn't posted in over a year I think... I sure do miss his comic trivia threads. :(

The ROK nicely pointed me towards that thread. So here I am (and thanks for remembering). Truth is, I have little or no time these days to write. My workload has started to explode the last few months and I find the time to give a look at the CBR access page but none to post on the Classic Forum unfortunately. I remain a fan of you guys and keep on reading oldies and new stuff. I'll try to pop up more ;)
Tahnks for caring, man and very nice blog Scott, wish I had time to work on mine like you do!

Great to see you.
Thanks for the comments on the blog - I'd like to put more time into it.
My wife and I are planning a trip with our baby to the Languedoc region in September. We'll probably go the Gite route - do you know that area at all? Any towns/villages that are a 'can't miss'? I am looking mostly at either Corbieres or Minervois areas - not to far from Carcasonne. I know that it's pretty far from A-en-P, but thought it was worth a shot.

Yeah I know that area a bit. I have very good friends leaving in the Corbieres in a small village called Lagrasse - http://www.lagrasse.com/uk/index.htm (where you can buy fantastic wine btw). It's a very nice village with a lovely river nearby where you can go and swim. It's not far from Carcassone but also close to the sea. Frankly it's a great place for your gite if you want.
No comic shops in the area unfortunately :D

Hey Eltini, great to hear from you again! Nous avons besoin de plus de français par ici! ;)
Are you really from Aix? I seem to know more people from there than anywhere else in the hexagon.
Cheers,
- Ben

That's precisely the town my wife and I have had our eyees on!
In fact, we had a bottle of Corbieres from the Lagrasse area the other night.
Merci pour votre recommandation. Le cherce pour le gite parfait commence aujourdhui.
A bientot!

Nope I'm from Marseilles (20 miles south!) but I live in Aix. And you may have heard about Aix a lot because there are 3 universities and several schools here or it may be because we are prouder of our area... :D
