Time to hop in the way back machine...

I'm thinking of getting Deep Fear for the Sega Saturn. Yep, I still got it. :cool: Has anyone ever played this? It looks like Resident Evil only on a submarine. Is that in fact what it is?

Sort of. There's a "gay" sidekick in the game as well! These voice actors might persuade you NOT to try the game though.

LOL That voice acting actually sounds hilarious to me. :D And you were right about him sounding like Dame Edna. Wow. What was that all about?

How's the gameplay? Same as Resident Evil?

And what's interesting about that site...it has a Deep Fear instruction book cover that looks like the ones used in the US! Was this game released in the US and I missed it? I was going to get the import version.

Similar, yes. It's certianly on par with RE gameplay wise (although the atmosphere isn't as good).

And what's interesting about that site...it has a Deep Fear instruction book cover that looks like the ones used in the US! Was this game released in the US and I missed it? I was going to get the import version.
I'm not so sure. It was fairly rare(ish) over here in Scotland as well.

Never came out to the US. I did see it at an EB once along with other Saturn imports.
