What's your opinion on this show, personally i liked it a lot, i liked how the series handled the relationship between Mystique, Nightcrawler and Rogue, largely because it inspired so many good fan fictions, however it's ashame that there wasn't any Graydon Creed introduced in the series, which would've made the series more interesting in my opinion.

It was pretty good.Somewhat rekindled my interest in comics after I hadn't
been reading for awhile.

If I could find it at a decent price I'd buy the DVD's.

doesn't a season 3 box set come out in May?

I still haven't seen the last season, just as it was really getting good. It took a while to find it's legs, but I enjoyed some bits like the Scott-Rogue relationship, as well as the way they handled Scott-Jean (if a bit over the top in places.) I never liked Lance-Kitty, as I just couldn't see her with a guy who was a delinquent, completely unkempt, and tried to kill her once. Plus, they slandered a whole lot of decent characters to make him "misunderstood".

I liked it even though I only watched it sporadically.

I don't know if some people object to how Evolution changing things around making all different characters teenagers at the same time, sending them to a regular high school, having the Brotherhood be kids, etc. But for me, Evolution was really closer in spirit to many of the characters than the 1990s X-Men cartoon.

I thought this show was sub-par. It had really bad animation, and the stories were all over the place.

Also it had an effect similar to Smallville. Non-comic fans would watch the show and think they knew everything about the characters. That may not bother everyone, but its one of my pet peeves. I would be talking to my friends about the x-men and someone would but in and say "thats not how it happened on X-men evolution..." Maybe im weird like that.

This is the truth, Evo was way closer to having alot of the things I loved about x-men. Plus it later on started to feature the New Mutants who were in alot of ways a much greater set of chars than the originals to me.

It was good at including the huge amount of chars that are in the x-verse. It had great use of Juggs and really showed how badsass he was as well as other chars that really looked horrible IMO in the 90's show. Which I thought was a pretty bad show to begin with. Outside of Havoks cameos :)

I loved this show. I liked how it didn't revolve around the usual suspects, plus had a young twist to a lot of elements. I didn't see the last season either, but I hear its awesome.

One of the best scenes is Juggy verses the gang on the dam. Cyke taunts Juggs and lets off with a full on no visor optic blast. Juggs walk thru it and pimps slaps cyke. He had to push thru, but he proved it at every step of the way. Mother fokkin UNSTOPABLE.

I only got to watch bits and pieces of it, but I very much enjoyed the series. Naw, it ain't 616 or Ultimate or the movies, but whatever. There'll always be some people to complain about whichever.

But yeah, I found it kinda light-hearted and fun. I mean, it got darker occasionally, but it was overall just a sorta fluffy show, and some fluff is good. Closest thing to TMNT that my siblings had, y'know.

I really liked the way they portrayed the Brotherhood--they were all fairly sympathetic characters. Not exactly nice, but not hard-core evil, not even Pietro. The Todd/Wanda thing was adorable...even if it did drive me nuts that everyone who watched the show refereded to Toad as Todd even if they were talking 616.

But it was fun. I like the fandom too. I mean, like, fanfiction and fanart. Because Evo had a bit more space to play around in--it didn't feel so cluttered. It was also largely marketed towards girls, with more character-driven stories than big bad battles and the like. Not stellar, but a fun guilty pleasure (I'll admit it, I love Evo!Brotherhood fanfiction...they're so fun to get into!).

My only gripes were Gambit didn't sound remotely Cajun (or even Southern...he sounded like a Northerner trying to be Southern >.<) and the fact that X-23 came out of it. Other than that, I liked it.

It was quite enjoyable. Ran for a lot longer than I expected.

I preferred the 90s cartoon, a lot more, as it was a lot more faithfull to the original stories, allbeit within the context of a different cast, but I thought Evolution was pretty good all the same.

Rerally wish the former wouyld get a DVD release in season format some day...

I thought it was okay...but a little too kiddie for me. I liked the 90's animated series over this one. The storylines were a lot more mature, and it's what got me into X-Men.

Evo had its strenghts too...but if I had to choose, I'd take the 90's version. Doesn't matter...I have them both.

That I'm not sure of You could try saving the webpage complete.

(File> Save page as) and see if that works.

The animation and fights were pretty well-executed. The individual characterization and character moments were fairly good as well, basically.

I'm just mad at it for what it did to Storm.

that scene was so well done. I loved how Juggs just grabbed Cyc's head to stop the blast. That was the first time I really took note & said, damn this is one hell of a cartoon!

the only thing I didnt like about the show, no Chamber.

I did notice from being online that it had made itself a huge female fanbase & I wonder if thats something Marvel didnt expect, since usually these tv shows are aimed at boys since they are the ones who will buy the action figures(whch bombed btw)...
I wouldnt be surprised if when the new Wolverine series comes out its gonna have a more blatently boy/action appeal to it...
