Forever jumping on a bandwagon it seemed unfair that Dan Scott should get all the hyping attention. So I decided to have a go at hyping up another book. Cable & Deadpool!
“BORN AGAIN!” Part 1 (of 2)
This is a prequel to the “BLOOD OF APOCALYPSE” arc running in X-Men #182-186!
Cable sees the signs--omens and portents--characters gathering, moving across the board like chess pieces... can APOCALYPSE be resurrected? Can Cable and Deadpool stop it in time? And most surprising of all... what if one of them doesn’t want it to be stopped?
X-citement! X-Thrills! X-over = higher sales!
Makes Deadpool happy!

What's with the "M3TH@UDON"? I don't read this book; I'm assuming they hire some outside force to ink/color it?

Zircher still does the covers.
edit: oh and the cables on his costume. Cable has lost his powers and now uses devices to simulate those powers: he is tapped into Marvel's version of the Internet, called the Infonet, and uses a forcefield generator to simulate his telepathy. Those cables on his uniform are probably part of that.

Before that, but it's a long story. Genetically he's still a mutant.

1. Deadpool., Agent X and now Cable & Deadpool all use Udon Studios (Darkstalkers, Street Fighter) to colour there issues.
2. Cable's powers went OTT and he became a jesus type figure trying to force peace onto the world X-Men teamed up with Deadpool (giving him an costume) to try and stop him. In the end Deadpool lobitimized him (with Cable's wishes). Cable's brain grew back when they attached an tech-organic alien to him, then he vanished fighting some alien in the crap-tastic X-Force mini. Deadpool went to alternative realites before finding Cable in House Of M induced 616 when he was a baby. Deadpool rescused him and Cable grew back to normal.
Trust me might sound confusing like that, but when you read the (is it 4 tpb's?) it is much better.
3. Thanks to the person who got me a bud!

I know he still does the covers. I was talking about the name in the top left.

Cable and Deadpool's got a great blend of action, humor, and drama that makes it akin to She-Hulk in its undiscovered potential...(though She-Hulk's gotten something of a bump).
Cable has been fully transformed to 90s reject into a multi-layered and amazing character. His progression through the series is fun to watch, especially since he's had a lot of stuff planned out from the beginning...
Anyway, I could praise it all day. It's awesome. It's often thought-provoking. It'll make you laugh...or at least smile, as though you are mildy entertained.
So try it out. I reccomend the Volume II TPB entitled "The Burnt Offering". That's Cable and Deadpool at its best.
