Alright, since I finally have a new computer I'd like to check out a new art programs now that I have a computer that could handle one. I've only used Paintbrush over the years.
What should I start with as more of a beginner? What advanced art programs would you guys recommned that are easy to use, easy to understand, and can help me learn new techniques along the way? (Oh, and something that doesn't cost a fortune)
I have no idea where to start. I'm not familiar with Corel Draw or the newer programs.
Any suggestions? I'm not really looking for animation or 3-D programs right now. I'd just like cool 2-D programs to start with to see if I can put together my own mini comicbook layout on it.
