okay, so we now have a Summers in each book -

Uncanny = Alex and Rachel
Adjectiveless = Nathan
Astonishin = Scott

Anyone have the feeling that some writer might come along and re-examine Claremont's idea of the Summers family taking over the mansion for a year and apply it here. The story potential is there. Plus, I believe in the 90s Bishop was telling someone (Banshee?) about something called the Summers Rebellion ?

I'd love to see that. I love anything Summers/Grey.

What would they rebel against? Clarmeont? lol!

BTW: I think Bishop's creators were the 90's X-writers: Byrne/Lee and The Image gang.

Unless Clarmeont left before he could introduce Bishop, I doubt that he came up with The Summer's Rebellion.

If The X-Men strike out against The Sentinels, The World will be against them.

The new trick is that the Sentinels will become part of The X-Men's missions.

They're humans inside who will become inspired, and influenced by their heroism in the face of spying, and oppression.

One may even have a relationship with an X-man.

This is where I see the books going.

There are two "Summers Rebellion" storylines.

In Claremont's version Stryfe mindcontrols (it is a CC idea) every other Summers/Grey family member and they would run the school. The school would be renamed to the Summers School for Gifted Students.

In Bishops time a person called "Summers" (first name unknown) led a rebellion to unite humans against the Sentinels and their racist masters. It's commonly believed that this is a Summers kid with time travel powers and most people think it's Rachel or Nathan.

lol!

I doubt Marvel will allow The X-Men to take over "Civil War"..

..to take the spotlight away from The Avengers/F4/Defenders/Thunderbolts..

"Civile War" is built to promote these books.

It seems like non-mutant heroes will attempt to arrest each other or something.

It would be cool if Xavier and Stark gave refuge to the human heroes who did not want to register their identities.

With the Sentinels on campus, Some Avengers would be forced to finally face the robots alongside The X-Men.

Rachel should "freak-out" because these incidents would mirror the beginnings of her dark future in which all heroes were attacked by The Sentinels.

...but it probably won't happen this way..

I doubt this one gains respect in Bishop's time.
