Ok, Today, I got to thinking about things at random, and an idea struck me..
...Why not make a new D&D cartoon?
Here's my idea: Chronicles of Dungeons and Dragons.. A tv show about a group of varied adventurers in a fantasy world...
...And the real lives of their players.
I figured it could be made as a saturday morning cartoon easily enough, and follow an approach like shows like "Dragon Tails" or "Wishbone".. First few minutes, we join the players in their daily lives, where they deal with a real life problem. Then, they gather for their weekly D&D game and their Player Characters encounter a problem in a fantasy world which is similar enough, and band together to deal with it. ...Later on, they work to resolve the real life issue before the end of the episode.
I think it would work... After all, why wouldn't it? It's generic enough, especially if they brush over the gaming details.. ...If they can make an Anime series off a card game, I don't see why they can't make a cartoon series off a roleplaying game.
What do you guys think?
