I've been collecting comics for a while, but my collection has remained almost exclusively Marvel and DC. Are there any titles I should get into at Image? What are the best? What back issues/trades should I pick up? What's currently hot? What's coming out that I should keep my eye on?
Thanks for the help.

I'd also suggest Ant and Wildguard. ;)
Invincible, best superhero comic there is!!!
Godland, for lovers of Kirby and the 70s cosmic comics
Wildguard, reality TV and Superheroes
The Walking Dead, its about Zombies, its brillant but not for the light hearted
and of course the forementioned, Granddad of Image Comics
The Savage Dragon

Fear Agent, great sci fi.
Strange Girl, very good book as long but if you don't want religion ideas anywhere near your book don't pick it up.
Invincible, one of the best superhero books ever.
Godland, great cosmic superhero book.
Ferro City, noir drama with robots!
Fell, great book and cheap. It's Warren Ellis can't go wrong with that.

I forgot to mention that I've been picking up a couple issues of Spawn lately. Is that not a top Image title?

I would recommend The Necromancer, The Walking Dead, Invicible, and Bomb Queen....and coming up soon, don't forget the Loaded Bible - Jesus vs Vampires, what more can you ask for???

Uhhh....no. It was the top comic when Image first got started and in its infancy days, but seriously, I don't know of anyone who still reads Spawn.
Image books can be quite varied, so it really depends on what kind of stuff you like to read. My top pick, and probably Image's top title currently, is the Walking Dead. It's much more than a book about zombies--it's about the survivors and their interactions in such an environment..

I'd recommend Lions, Tigers and Bears. A Little Birdie told me the first issue of volume II comes out tomorrow. ;)
And while you're at it, grab Fear Agent, Invincible, Amazing Joy Buzzards, Savage Dragon, Cyberforce, NYCMech, Battle Hymn, Ant, Rocketo, Small Gods and Wildguard.

If it's humor you're looking for, you CANNOT go wrong with Scott Kurtz's PVP and the new TRUTH, JUSTIN AND THE AMERICAN WAY. Both are hilarious and quite enjoyable.

if yer looking for very understated, hardcore police detective drama, go for FELL! tightly tightly written, stand alone issues, 'only' $2 a shot, beautifully 'lit' artwork, excellent characters and dialogue.

Witchblade. If you could somehow get into the big by picking up the old trades it could be worth your time.

I still read Spawn. However, I only do so beacuse it's the longest uninterrupted run I have of any title and I have said on these boards before that it has sucked since around #80. I would'nt recommend it.
I fyou are looking for Image titles to pick up then I have to echo what most people have already said. The "Essential" titles for me are:
Walking Dead
Invincible
Fear Agent
and Fell.
I've also heard very good things about Godland but have'nt checked it out myself yet so I cant honestly give an opinion.

These titles are great new takes at the "hero" and "adventure" genres:
The Savage Dragon
Rocketo
Tales of Collosus
Invincible
One Page Filler Man
The Black Forest
Hammer Of The Gods
Bastard Samurai
Bad Ideas
