Figured you nice guys here on the Ringo forum might want to see some new stuff from me. If this ain't cool just let me know and I'll be gone!

This one has an interesting story of the client couldn't decide which character he wanted so I drew him treebeard from LOTR giving 'ol Nightwing the heave ho. Yeah I'm a weirdo, so sue me.

Looks pretty cool!
Who's the hero with the "P" on his outfit????
I'm thinking - "The PEACOCK!"
Huh? eh? Bueller? Bueller......?

The pages look cool, Rich. I like the fact that you've really improved your 'shot' selection. You used to draw almost everything straight-on. Now you're adding in some interesting angles. So you're definitely continuing to improve with everything I see from you. Exactly as it should be... :D
I'm not so enamored with the commission piece. I see what your intention was with the illo.... but it doesn't have much of a sense of movement. And the foreshortening on NIGHTWING is a bit severe.

Mike, thanks so much for the advice on the Nightwing piece. I am trying to do new things with my artwork but noone seems to notice nor care. I'm so glad that this forum is back, with people posting again as I always loved coming here. I have posted a Ninja Turtle piece that will be part of something I'm doing for myself.
Web - his name is Power Player and he was from a comic I was doing that won't be seen anytime soon as the writer has some real personal issues and doesn't have the mindset for comics at the moment!

Cool turtle, looks really good! The colors are fantastic!
Only thing I would comment on is the feet! I would suggest working on the feet so they look like they are flat to te ground. He kinda looks like he's floating.
You might achieve this by shortening the feet and adjusting them so they look like they are pointing at the viewer of the picture more directly.
Adding some tension to the knees would help as well, unless he's going for that wide legged Karate stance! LOL! ;)
Hope that makes sense!
