Help please

hey everyone well i don't know if this post should be here but this whole section is what i seek advice on. Well i suck really at drawing and colouring so i thought why can i not design a comic on my pc? and then i found some really cool digital pics on the internet and i thought, wow! basically some of the programmes i thnk they used were like poser 6 and stuff like that. but where can i find these programs and can anyone tell me abit about them?
