He gazes.

Just kidding. I have no idea. He probably just has a physical mutation at this point.

He said it himself- he wanted to take a pansy and make him butch. Which somehow fits into the conceit of "survival of the fittest."

He used to be immune to radiation. Then M-Day depowered him. He is no longer a mutant.

He was depowered by M-Day anyway. Originally he commented that his body was immune to radiation, which is why he was the perfect Astronaut to live on the Space Station for extended periods of time.

In regard to 'The Lucky One's' comment, remember that someone did the very same thing for En Sabah Nur when he was a sickly child. So it's not always the 'Survival of the Fittest' in the physical sense. :)

I presumed from the name that he was a low level optic-blaster similar to Peepers.

Umm, dude, did you even read 182? Apocolypse explains why he wants to; his arrogance. He says it right in the issue, so I don't know why you keep bringing this up honestly. Which I can understand this point cause the guy thinks so much of himself that he considers himself the "mutant messiah".

I skimmed it in the store. Yeah, I know what he said about arrogance, I just find it amusing in its hypocrisy. "Survival of the fittest" refers to natural selection, which by definition is a natural process. Pitting mutants against each other is interfering on its own, but at least you can look at it as an attempt to simply speed up natural selection- whoever nature has gifted the most will survive. This, on the other hand, is "survival of whoever I arbitrarily pick out of a hat and give powers to." It reinforces Poccy's hypocrisy... which, I promise, I have no problems with whatsoever.
