TEAM BOONDOX!

1-3 seconds.
Immeditaly Banshee charges towards Storm. Surge picks up Mercury and zooms towards them, throwing Mercury towards them and Surge speeds towards Avalanche, already shooting electric beams towards his hands so if I can't get to him for awhile, atleast he will be rendered useless. Iceman takes Quill and Dust, and he slides over to the field.

1-5 seconds
Quill starts firing his spikes towards Persuaion and Prizim, and Iceman freezes the projectiles at impact, so when it hits, it will give them a chiling sting. Banshee first screams towards the ground, disrupting it do anyone infront of him (his team mates are behind him) will be knocked off of their feet. Iceman starts to create a icy kingdom around them by shooting his ice beam at the sky (not only taking out anyone that is flying). Mercury dashs towards Persuaion, quickly defeating her since she can't use her powers against Mercury. Banshee picks Dust up, and hurls her over to Scrambler, but turning dust form quickly, so she can hopefully take down Scrambler before he could use his mutant power. Banshee focus his amazing vocals on Storm and Bishop, atleast making them stunned for a moment.

5- 15 seconds.
Iceman runs towards Bishop, and pounds his hands into the ground, causing a massive ice spread around Bishop. Iceman then creates a ice cage around Bishop and slides back to Quill. Quill starts firing quills at Storm, and Iceman continues to freeze them before impact, adding more damage to them. Surge and Mercury charge Shatterstar, Surge taking him a bit far back, running around in circles, causing the ground around them to erode, and Iceman creates a dome over them so its just Shatterstar, Mercury, and Surge. Surge shoots her electric enegry at his sword, charging it so much that it will explode on him, stunning him long enough for Mercury to change her arm into a blade and hit him dead in the neck.

4-8 seconds.
Elixir is at the back always waiting incase someone needs healing. Incase Bishop, Prisim, and Avalanche aren't finished, Quill shoots hundreds of quills at them and Iceman freeze them. Banshee screams when they hit, causing them to shatter and hurt them. Surge then goes in there with her super speed and starts shooting electric charges at them, making sure they're done.
Good Luck nightcrawler!

Immediately:

• Prism blinds the other team. This should keep them from attacking immediately or putting up any defenses.

• Bishop opens fire with one of his guns at the other team, to keep them from attacking.

• Storm hits Banshee with a lightning bolt. This will pass through any ice shields created by Iceman. Storm creates powerful winds to push the other team down into the ground (see next bullet). This wind serves a second purpose: if Dust goes into her sand phase, then this wind will push her down into her team, wounding them.

• Avalanche makes the ground surge up and engulf Corey’s team, pulling them down into the ground.

• My team begins running towards the other team.

• Avalanche closes the hole up once Corey Dreher’s team is inside it. If some of them didn’t go down, he raises large rocks out of the ground and pushes them back. Storm’s cyclone winds all serve to keep the opponents from retaliating.

4-8 seconds:

• Avalanche creates a centralized earthquake where Corey’s team is. Needless to say, this will severely hurt them, and keep them from escaping.

• Storm hits Bishop with several bolts of lightning, super-charging him.

• My team arrives on the scene.

• Persuasion releases her pheromones.

• If any of Corey’s team is somehow out of the ground, they are quickly brought down by Shatterstar, Scrambler, and Bishop.

9-12 seconds:

• Avalanche opens a small chute, connecting the hole with team BoondoX in it, and the outside.

• Storm blows Persuasion’s pheromones down the hole. Her winds have two other purposes: to keep Dust from coming out, and to carry Persuasion’s commands down.

• Persuasion yells commands down the hole (carried by Storm’s winds) and forces the other team to fight each other.

• Avalanche closes the hole up once Persuasion’s command is given.

13-20 seconds:

• Corey Dreher’s team proceeds to kill each other. Accompanied by Avalanche’s earthquake, this should quickly finish off most of his team.

• Storm picks up and holds Scrambler and Shatterstar in the air with her winds.

21-25 seconds:

• Avalanche throws what remains of team BoondoX out of the ground into the air, where Storm holds them in place with her winds.

• Storm blows Shatterstar and Scrambler to various members of Corey’s team, either turning their powers off or killing them.

• Prism and a super-charged Bishop decimate the rest of team BoondoX. They are sitting ducks, and completely helpless in the air.

These battles are short aren't they. 36 and 25 seconds long.

Hmm... Corey and the Cap'n's strategy doesn't anticipate Prizm's blinding, which surprises me (how else was he going to lead off?), and it hurts their overall strategy, methinks, because all of their subsequent attacks require eyesight to hit their targets. On the other hand, I'm not sure if it's ever been defined exactly how wide a scope Prizm has for blinding people- would the effect be lessened from 100 yards away, in a wide open space, in the daylight? Have to think about this.

So, I'm decided. Simple as it is and it goes to Nightcrawler.

His use of the characters he has is better then C&Cs. Iceman in this is used well against Bishop. Not focusing the attack on him. But Nightcrawler's strategy is more sound. Initial attacks work and most ot is works well.

Banshee is taken out immediately, as no defenses are put up against him. If Prism's attack is weakened by distance, then his foes are blinded when they come close to my team, and everything happens the same.

1-5 seconds
Quill starts firing his spikes towards Persuaion and Prizim, and Iceman freezes the projectiles at impact, so when it hits, it will give them a chiling sting.

Chilling sting? If anything, it would make Quill's spikes to heavy, and they would fall short of their targets.

Banshee first screams towards the ground, disrupting it do anyone infront of him (his team mates are behind him) will be knocked off of their feet.

Too bad I have Avalanche, who actively controls the ground Banshee (who's out already anyway...) is trying to attack.

5- 15 seconds.
Iceman runs towards Bishop, and pounds his hands into the ground, causing a massive ice spread around Bishop. Iceman then creates a ice cage around Bishop and slides back to Quill.

By now, Storm has charged Bishop with her lightning, so Bishop will easily be able to break out.

Shatterstar can fire energy out of his sword. So he can at least counter Surge's attack. Also, the universe's greatest fighter wouldn't be taken out be a simple attack like that from a character with much less training then him.

Good luck, Corey and Captain!

I think Prism and Storm's uncountered opening attack take the match for Nightcrawler.

I have to vote Nightcrawler as well. His strategy was just more comprehensive, and his opening gambit more likely to succeed.
