I was wondering about that too.For the first 2 or 3 issues he'll probably be human and become a vampire in at the end of part 3 or something.

I'm pretty sure this arc is supposed to introduce Blade as well. It probably has a lot more to it than Morbius.

Ultimate Morbius? Interesting. We better get Ultimate Blade and some other character involved like Ultimate Punisher or Ultimate Prowler. I don't think Morbius could last as the only character for 5 parts but it could work.

Love morbius, but I think it's a bit early in spidey's life for morbius to be showing up. Guy's just a monster. Hope the vampire thing is as unique as they're billing it to be. I wouldn't mind seeing an ultimate blade, but I'd like to see some spidey ingenuity to handle this.

I'm curious how Bendis will tackle Morbius' origin into becoming a vampire. It looks like he'll go with an Richard Matheson's "I Am Legend" aspect in which Morbius inadvertantly threatens to infect all of New York via vampiric virus since Ben Urich, according to the solicits, is turning into one (Yay! More Daily Bugle...finally). Also I'm getting the horrible feeling that Michael Moribus becomes a living vampire from him being another failed super-soldier experiment and that S.H.E.I.L.D is trying to cover it's tracks. Hope I'm wrong about that one.

Vulture is now, rumours were that Scorpian will be in 100 and is it true that Ben Urich is a vampire :confused: Maybe I misread this..(I hope).

Ultimate Beetle is in the Ultimate Spider-man video game. But I don't think it's been 100% confirmed that the game is canon.

Well, this story looks pretty cool, but I think its going to be bigger than just Spidey meeting Blade and then they kid Morbuis's ass, I mean this is the story that goes to the 100th issue. Something huge has got to happen, at least I hope something does.

Isn't Morbius the guy who kills spidey in The Other which concludes with Spidey reborn with a new costume?

That's Morlun. Morbius is a much older character. He was a Doctor who turned himself into a Vampire by messing with some syrum he developed to cure a rare blood disease in himself. Something went wrong and he ended up a blood sucker. He ran around with Ghost Rider, Blaze, and the Nightstalkers for a while as a member of the Midnight Sons during the '90s.

Yeah, but knowing that they don't really like to have "super-natural" people in the UU... I think you might be right! Especially if he originally took a formula to produce the change!

Yeah I know, then they say the Ultimate Morbius story was supposed to go to the 100th issue. Whats up with tht?

I'm kinda disappointed on Ultimate Morbius's look. His costume looks way too similar to the regular 616 one. I like when they update the costume and make it look slightly different. I always thought his costume looked too much like the stereotypical count Dracula costume.

Possible that during the Morbius arc the Clone Saga arc actually starts but isn't the main focus until the situation with Morbius is over. Events in the Morbius arc could trigger the Clone Arc's start but results of these actions might not come into play until time passes after the Morbius arc is over.

For example, say something happens during the Morbius arc, after that a week or month or two passes and then we get the fallout after the 100th issue. So in a way you can look at it actually started during the previous arc, get a flashback to the inbetween time or something.
