I always kind of expected that the book wouldn't be around forever (I really haven't dug it since Judd Winick left) but I hope they at least get to issue 100.

That's what I thought at first but after reading it again, I think there's a good chance they're referring to the end of the book ("The beginning of the end starts here! The tour of duty is about to reach its earth breaking conclusion!"). Also, considering that I've heard nothing about future of the book post-World Tour... I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Ultimate FF: Gorgeous cover. I hope Land can draw Doom better than the last time we saw him. But, on a side note, this is sort of reminding me of Ultimate X-Men in its early days...Magneto, or in this case Doom, returns every thirty issues or so. That's not the best way to go. And I don't even care about the solicitation, it's all bogus heeby jeeby stuff.

Ultimate X-Men: The art is really nice! I'm looking forward to it. But the arc title, "Phoenix?" makes me iffy.

Marvel Adventures Avengers: I think if Storm ever joined the Avengers (and Ms. Marvel was gone) that would be the perfect costume. She looks really good in it. But I'm still neutral to this series.

Civil War: Those covers are gorgeous. Both of them. McNiven and Turner should never leave comics. Just for the record, though, McNiven is better.

She-Hulk: My least favorite cover ever. The Greg Horn ones are getting bad. Any other artist could have done this fine. Also, last issue of She-Hulk, she went to the future, right? She was shown what she caused? Maybe that's why Uatu is so angry on the Civil War cover.

Black Panther: Eww, Olivier Coipel. Just ew. Maybe he did it on purpose because he hates the pairing. His cover for Luke+Jessica's wedding was absolutely gorgeous. This...I mean, look at Storm's loose ends!

Captain America: I like that Cap cover, but he looks soooo out of place, it's not even funny.

Daughters of the Dragon: Looks awesome, I'm lovin' it. Misty and Colleen look a bit weird, but Iron Fist is great. I like this artist a lot.

Marvel Romance Redux: That's a pretty cover. I still can't get over this series' "President Stripper" story. Ahahaha.

Ms. Marvel: OOOH! Cool. That costume looks, umm, uncomfortable.

Moon Knight: DOUBLE OOH! I love that cover! Too bad Finch's faces are terrible.

Nextwave: You disappoint, Nextwave. I've loved every cover so far, but this is just DULL.

Apocalypse/Dracula: Awesome cover. Love those blue lips making that grin.

i think i may drop new excalibur after this issue. we'll see.
i'll definitely check out the millar/mcniven civil war series, but i am not going to get any of the other tie-ins.

I am filled with SO MUCH glee! *squee* The TEB has been waiting for this for a long long time. We were getting ready to write letters en masse (or however massive it can be when there's roughly twelve of you...)

Ooooo, some good stuff coming on the horizon. I think I'm going to skip Civil War though, mostly because it doesn't sound as interesting as House of M. Maybe I'll grab the TPBs in the future, just to see what the hype is. Since the X-Books won't be playing a part in Civil War for the most part, I'm not worried about missing anything important. I'm on board for the following. And where the hell is Young Avengers! :(

Civil War, Civil War, Civil war: boring, boring, boring.
Spider-Man's new costume and Last Planet has been talked enough about.

No covers for Ronan and Super-Skrull? Aw... Like the Nova-cover, because it isn't a pin-up unlike that Silver Surfer cover.

Black Panther: Ororo? Clothes, girl!

Marvel Milestones: Black Panther, Storm and Ka-Zahr.. They make it sound like it contains Marvel's first threesome.

Iron: Inevitable. Not as good as the previous covers.
Nextwave: disappointing
Ares: another disappointment.
Cable & Deadpool: again disappointing

The Hulk vs. Silver Surfer cover on Planet Hulk makes good for those though.
