And we've seen the fight before, never goes good for big Green, unless there's something limiting him (hense the outfit?)

Still, as much as I disagree with the Illuminati guys doing this to him, Planet Hulk has me interested in Bruce again!

I was planning on picking this up, but now I'm a little more excited about it seeing the guest appearance on the cover. I just wonder what the Surfer needs with leather armor and a mace, hehe. I like how he's using his board as a shield though.

Well, he's white-ish metallic color . . . and he's using a long board (upon which one could stand and navigate an undulating liquid surface) as a shield . . .

they did say that Planet Hulk was gonna tie into the other main events, maybe surfer is tryign to get his help. Apparently in his pre annihilation arc some kinda beings are hunting the Heralds of Galactus, Hulk could help maybe I dunno

Before I enlarged it thought it was Absorbing Man but Surfer would be cool as well.

Maybe Surfer needs The Hulk's help during the events of Annhilation?

almost definately the surfer. the board/shield has those lines on it like the surfer's board usually does.

For that matter what does the hulk need a sheild for?

He should be able to scrunch that sheild up like a tissue, and so should the Surfer.

Makes it a bit pointless (other than looking good I grant you)

Well in the preview for the 1st issue for planet hulk it shows him get hurt and he starts to bleed, so with that in mind a shield wouldn't be too far out of the question.

Yeah but Hulk bleeding wouldn't be a first.

I admit I am not reading it at the moment but in the past the hulk bleeding has just been dependant on how the writer wants to handle him.

yeah you're right, but at the least i'd have to say that the shield and all is probably just for looks cause if they didnt have armor or shields it would like kind of dull.

It does look cool, and I thought I've seen the Hulk like that before.

No, not 100% sure. Pretty much just going from popular opinion when this cover was last time the topic of a thread. Seems like a good guess, though.
