The Complete Spider-Man Comic book List.

Hey, Guys.

Need a little help. As some of you know, I'm a big Spidey Fan. As some of you also know, I enjoy collecting the runs. One of my goals right now is completing a run of Amazing Spider-Man (I'm seven issues away.) After that, I'll be "done" with all but the ancillary stuff. (I've already got runs of Web, Spec, Spider-Man, most of Marvel Team-Up)

That's where you guys come in. I'd like to seek out and eventually have every Spider-Man comic book ever published, or at least as close as is humanely possible.

Help me make a list of every Spider-Man book ever published. Include guest shots, appearances, cover appearances, etc. Include comic books only (not trades, coloring books, magazines, etc.) Exclude Foreign Material. (much too large an animal.)

Feel free to post pics, data, publication information, etc. I'll work up all your posts into this original, first post. That way, we can see where we are and were we need to be. Please feel free to include freebies, giveaways, one-shots, ash-cans, etc. Feel free to list alternate covers, including artist if you can (to help me differentiate.) Feel free to include dealer exclusives, etc. etc. You get the picture.

This (http://www.sequart.com/spiderman.htm) would be a good start. Good luck, though. Spidey made so many appearances in comics and book format comics that were published outside the regular marvel universe. Accounting for all of them would be impossible. I still recall some Spider-Man mini comics I recieved in either Hostess or Drakes cakes boxes many years back. I'm sure those won't show up on any continuity list.


Some other random issues, off the top of my head:

Spider-Man: Parallel Lives (graphic novel from the 1980s)
Spectacular Spider-Man Magazine (1960s)
The Trial of Venom (1990s charity give away)
Spider-Man Saga (1990s comic book format encyclopedia of Spider-Man)
Deadly Foes of Spider-Man (1990s mini series)
