I'm surprised MadTV lasted this long. Never watched Lipstick Jungle so can't can't comment on that. As for My Own Worst Enemy, honestly, I liked the show but hated the split personality aspect of it. If they had dropped THAT but kept everything else I think it would have been fine.

Yeah the last Narnia movie didn't do as well Box Office wise. I can see why Disney is scared. They moved a successful X-Mas movie series to the summer to get those "Blockbuster" numbers. And it didn't cash in as well in the US .

Because TPTB love to rehash old ideas. Case in point Chris Hemsworth (George Kirk in Star Trek) has just landed the lead in Red Dawn. He's also our new Thor.

There was talk of Abrams being directly involved in an eventual TV series after a 2nd movie - perhaps. He had interest but there's been no serious talk of it at all. But if it does happen, I could see Fuller being a big part in this.

Blame Jay. He announced he was leaving years before he actually did. Then, when that date got closer, he started talking about how he didn't want to go. He's been quoted as saying he'd like to go back to his old Tonight Show slot now. I find myself feeling sad for him because he obviously has issues if he can't be okay with leaving The Tonight Show even though he already works practically every other day of the week. At the same time, he's been a complete ass to Conan O'Brien by even accepting (or creating, if he did) The Jay Leno Show that airs now.
Grace and learning how to make an exit are certainly two things he didn't pick up from Johnny Carson.

Well, in fairness, leaving five years ago was NBC's idea, not his. He was number 1 when it was announced, and when he left, so I'm sure he was never really all that thrilled with it.
Trying the 10 thing was one thing, but he shouldn't have been OK with bumping the Tonight Show back to 12:05, at least not unless he talked to Conan and his people first and they signed off.

I'm happy about The Good Wife. I find it an enjoyable show.

I'm exhaused, half-watching the SAG awards. Two things have jumped out at me.
1. Anna Paquin has an Australian accent?! I had no idea. (Ok, I then looked up IMDB, she was born in Canada and grew up in New Zealand)
2. Kate Hudson...OMFG!!! (There's no no tongue-wagging smiley)
3. The Oscars finally learned and got rid of the applause audio during the Memorium montage, but SAG hasn't. What gives?
CBS has renewed How I Met You Mother http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2010/01/25/cbs-renews-how-i-met-your-mother/
Survivor (Two seasons) and Amazing Race http://tvbythenumbers.com/2010/01/25/survivor-renewed-amazing-race-renewed-too/40042
Meanwhile Ugly Betty has been cancelled http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2010/01/27/exclusive-abc-cancels-ugly-betty/
Syfy's got a teist on the classics: http://www.thrfeed.com/2010/02/spike-tv-greenlights-scrappers-half-pint-brawlers.html This could be interesting.

Half Pint Brawlers will likely not last long. I can't see how this show will survive with Puppet as the main star. I do think its kinda funny that A ex-TNA guy (he was there in 2002) is getting a TV show 8 years later.
Oh, crap that link was from Spike TV. Here http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/content_display/television/news/e3ia2f06c2856f58e40c9a47de25e8b62d5
is the Syfy classic fairy tale link.
So much for natural causes. Brittany Murphy died of multiple drug intoxication, pneumonia, iron deficiency and anemia. (http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20100204/en_afp/entertainmentusfilmmurphyautopsy)
All of the drugs in her system were prescription medications. Her death has been ruled an accident.
