Paradox

Fight it, hell, I'm embracing it with both arms! Been doing nothing but read up on it online for the past several days since I decided to go for it.
Lots of catch up to do...everyone else is a year and a half ahead of me!

*Sigh*
First it was the Evercrack epidemic. Then came World of Warcrack. And now it's City of Heroin. Another fine man has been lost the world of MMORPGs. :(

Don't cry, Flex...we all come back eventually. Look at Doug Strange...we lost him for months when he first got this.

Goodbye Paradox...can't believe you're leaving us for that harlot City of Heroes.

Dan Apodaca has the fevah!!!:
I want in. I want in baaaaad.
I know what you mean. I was expecting it to arrive TODAY, but when I checked the tracking this morning, turns out I put in the wrong expiration date from my debit card. Another day's wait just about made my head spin in circles. :)

I just can't believe I forgot to ask for it for Christmas. Now I gotta save up money for one more thing...

Cotton takes me too seriously:
Goodbye Paradox...can't believe you're leaving us for that harlot City of Heroes.
Heh, I'm only kidding (kind of). I'm not leaving so much as reducing my presence quite a bit for a while. Just thought I'd start this so certain people didn't start to worry if I didn't show up for a while.
That and to find out who from here is still playing. Reading the thread over on Games, but I don't know of the old Crime's Best Remedy group is still around or if any of those folks here that got in on the ground floor are even playing anymore.

**tosses away first name idea**
Geez, I thought "Exemplar" would be obscure enough that no one would probably use it...and then I find out it's used as a game term!!! AAAARRRGGGGHHH!!!
Bet Pinnacle is already taken...

How about The 'Dox?
Or alternatively take words you like and use the thesaurus to find different words that mean the same thing. After that try adding a color in front of that word.
It might not be exactly what you want but better "Red Conjuror" than The_Wizard_5637.

Oh, I'm really well versed in name making (thesaurus is an essential) from my old "Villains & Vigilantes" days. If Pinnacle is taken, it'll be back to the drawing board. He's going to be a Superman/Capt. Marvel "goody goody" type and needs a "superlative" name.
And that's only for one character I've come up with, before even getting the game.
Paradox will definitely be getting a character based on my fanfic one.
Others I've come up with are a clown scrapper heavy on acrobatics (Cut-Up), a mage (Mr. Mystic...bound to be taken, so I'll have to see what varient of that I can use), and a middle-aged man trapped in a teen age girl fire thrower's body called Li'l Devil (think teen girl in a red devil costume with a big Nick Fury stogie).

I haven't played in awhile but IIRC Pinnacle is the name of one of the servers so I doubt it would be allowed.

I'd buy it just so I can kill you whenevere I have the urge
Also, why not try the name "Capstone"? It has the word cap in it!

Fabian doesn't know the game:

Not possible. Too bad, too, because if you saw the stuff I've seen rumored, we'd be more likely to team up and go destroy other far more annoying folks than you or I could EVER aspire to. ;)

Your complete lack of imagination has stunning qualities sometimes. :D

Sure that's what Clapton said when he started dabbling in heroin. And look what happened when he came back...he butchered "I Shot the Sheriff" and started making soft rock. You don't want to make soft rock do you?

I may get on in the next few days. Apparently, they've reactivated my account until the 12th as a valentine's present.

FINALLY!
They put my game on a truck at 7:30 this morning. The UPS station is 3/4 mile away from my house. You'd THINK I'd have been first on the list. But noooooooo, I got to sit up all day long waiting until 5 pm (almost overslept for work)!
Man, this initial update is taking forever, even on the highspeed...
