I purchased it today and was pleasantly surprised!
The characters and the entire format really brought back some fond memories of reading comics as a child. I'd long forgotten about charatcers like Supremus, Time-Master, and the Triumvirate of Terror, so it was nice to read about them again. And I really liked the layout of the "Where Are They Now?" appendix at the end of the book.
The A TO Z series is still my favorite, though! :)

I thought about picking it up. I flipped through it and while I was impressed with the characters they listed, the design of it totally turned me off. That was a deal breaker. Don't they employ Graphic Designers at Marvel?! Heck, I'd be willing to offer my services to them if they needed help...

It's supposed to look like something published in the 1960's, that was the point. ;)

Then they failed. It looked like someone took a bunch of ugly, clunky text and slapped it on a page in Word then colored the background of the page tan. It didn't look like a period piece, it looked like a hack job. It could have been done A LOT better.

I haven't seen it in person, but I love how the cover looks with the yellowed white.
