Classic Spiderman

Hey everybody,

When i was a kid I had a small collection of Spiderman comics, I can't recall if it was "amazing" "spectacular" or what!?!? I do remember that Captain Stacey died in one of the issues, and it had a spider-ham back up story!

Anyway my question is if anybody can help me with some estimated issues #'s or collections that contain this era of spiderman? I know very little about spiderman beyond basic history, any help would be great, thanks!

Ok, you're talking about Marvel Tales I think, because that's the only comic I saw Spider-Ham in. Along with other spoofs such as Punfisher and Octopussy. It's around 1988 in Marvel Tales methinx.

Spider-Ham appeared in other titles too (including his own), but you're right that Marvel Tales was the only time he would have appeared as a backup following a reprint of a classic Amazing Spider-Man story.

thats been eating me up for weeks now. I knew the issue it originaly appeared in, but i wanted to find the issue i had as a kid, and thats it, well thanks again for all your help guys!
