I blame this on lack of sex. See if Chuck Austen was writing X-Men , someone would be gettin laid and people would wanna know who and why ? Then they'd buy an issue and spend an hour dictating a response on how the very essance of " said " charactor has been tainted by Chuck Austen's vile sex pen.

I haven't stepped foot in my LCS since last August and I don't miss it at all. Granted, I get all my comics online now, so...

Actually, I've dropped so many comics that it made going to the LCS and paying through the nose for bad service not worthwhile at all. I think I read less than 10% of what I read a year ago and it keeps going down. I forsee a day when I'll just drop comics entirely, they just aren't worth reading, they aren't worth the money and they're just... well... moronic. What I want in a comic just doesn't exist in a comic anymore.
