I'm looking at my current pull list for marvel, and I am planning on dropping Marvel Team-Up after #18 and The Official Handbook. I'm also planning to switch Young Avengers to trade after this storyline. So I'm asking everyone here to recommend me 2-4 ongoing titles to add to my pull list. Here's my current ongoing list:
Cable/Deadpool, Exiles, Incredible Hulk, New Avengers, Nextwave, She-Hulk, Thing, Ultimate Fantastic Four, Astonishing X-Men, Ultimates
Thanks for any help!

I recommend X-Factor......this book is hot....Hot...HOT!!!
I'd tell you to venture into some sweet -ass Image or Vertigo books right now if you're willing to step out of the Big 2 box...titles such as
Girls
DMZ
Exterminators
Walking Dead
Fear Agent...and..yeah...they're not superhero books but good nonetheless...

Well are you a CC fan ? It pretty boils down to that question . I find the book interesting enough , despite imo too muh time taken to properly establish a team , and some mistakes with some characters .
The hell where is Runaways on your pull list?!?! Honestly go pick up the digests or the hardcover and you'll see how great it is. Other titles like Captain America, Daredevil and the Ares mini are good also.

The books I have on my current ongoing list won't be dropped. I'm loving those books too much. Team-Up, sorry to say, hasn't been able to keep me interested on a monthly basis. So I'm switching to trades for that. But thanks for the suggestions! I hope to hear more.

Your name is the purple skull, so I'm really shocked you're not reading Captain America. It's the best comic being published today, PERIOD!
Captain America
Squadron Supreme
Daredevil (Brubaker and Lark take over next week)
Hulk (Planet Hulk starts tomorrow)

Captain America
Uncanny X-Men (when Brubaker takes over)
X-Factor
Dialtone just mentioned it, but it seems like you're one title shy on your list, thematically.

Since you already have Cable/Deadpool, Thing, and She Hulk you need to add the forth of the "classic feel" books Marvel puts out these days and that is New Thunderbolts. If you like those books I think you would like it.
X-Factor also gets a nod. It is a different type of book, but a very good one. Plus it is only on the 3 issue and the Madrox mini series that led into it ia in trade form.
The new Ms. Marvel series looks like it might be good.

Marvel puts out some really good Mini's. I'd recommend checking out Ares and Underworld, which are 2 of my favorite books.
I can recommend two:
Daredevil & Captain America
Daredevil should offer some good street/crime noir. With the new team of Brubaker & Lark starting, it should be a good jump on point.
Cap is full of intrigue and with the art of Epting (sp?) its a great read. Throw in some Shield too. I never thought I would ever read a Cap book, but Bru has pulled me in. I would also recommend picking up the trades (2 I think) since the new team started
good luck

My favorite Marvel books right now:
Daredevil (good jumping on point with #82)
Thunderbolts (it's continuity heavy though, but very fun)
Spider-Girl (light hearted super hero fun)
Sorry, I can't come up with another one. Maybe Uncanny once Brubaker starts up, but I don't know how that will be yet, obviously.

well as many has said, Captain America, perfect timing, he just finished probably the best story in comics last year, but it should make a jumping on point as it's starting a new story line.

Everyone who is recommending dropping Cable & Deadpool needs a good old fashioned kick upside the head, it's better than most of the books being recommended by far. IMO Captain America was just fair and was seriously overblown by most readers since it really didn't even come close to the greatness of Waid's first run, but I'll agree with those who recommend New Thunderbolts, or then again it'll be Thunderbolts again with the upcomming #100, it's a really fun ride
Edit: I'd also recommend New Excalibur over X-Factor, it's been more fun so far at least to me, but it seems im in the minority on this

For some reason, I could never get into Runaways. I guess I am in the minority here. Oh well...here's an update on my pull-list for ongoing titles
Current:
New Avengers, Cable & Deadpool, Exiles, Nextwave, Incredible Hulk, She-Hulk, Thing, Ultimate Fantastic Four, Astonishing X-Men, Ultimates
Dropped: OHOTMU A-Z, Marvel Team-Up after #18 (Possibly switch to trades)
Switched To Trades: Young Avengers after #12, possibly MTU
Added:
X-Factor - loved #2 and 3. Got my lcs to reorder #1.
Captain America - Enjoyed Winter Soldier. Now trying to collect the first arc.
Thanks for all the recommendations so far. I am becoming such a Marvel whore, but it's worth it. :)

My suggestion is to get an Essential each month alongside the new material, it'll help to give it the proper context. Plus for 17 bucks you get over 500 pages of often hard to find and costly stories, comprehensively reconstructing in chronological order the history of a series.

I am going to add one more to what I already said and say pick up the Hulk. The first part of Planet Hulk was a 10/10 and the storyline looks like it will be all sorts of cool.

I agree. I added Hulk last month because I enjoyed Daniel Way's story. And so far, Planet Hulk is off to a great start.

Based on what you're already reading, I'm going to recommend Runaways, X-Factor, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, and advise you to stick with Young Avengers in singles, because the trade schedule for that book is going to be brutal.

I highlighted your pulls that I pull also, to give you an idea of my tastes.I'm asking everyone here to recommend me 2-4 ongoing titles to add to my pull list. Here's my current ongoing list:
Cable/Deadpool, Exiles, Incredible Hulk, New Avengers, Nextwave, She-Hulk, Thing, Ultimate Fantastic Four, Astonishing X-Men, Ultimates
Why are you moving Young Avengers to 'trade only'? I'd keep it on your pull.
Otherwise, I gotta list these four books as receiving Harold of The Rocks Official Seal of Approval:
Captain America - Are you in a coma? Why the hell isn't this on your pull? Consider this a splash of cold water on your face (if not a slap) to tell you to wake up and get this now!4 (formerly MK4) - Aguirre-Sacassa is rockin' this book, and as a fan of the F4, this book is pretty damn good. I 'got in' on the Inhuman runaways arc (#19 & 20), but just picked up the 'Divine Time' trade. The art is very good (not my favorite, but it does fit nicely) as well. And speaking of Aguirre-Sacassa...Sensational Spider-Man - Just picked up the 'first issue', and I dig it! This comes down to two points.. 1) I trust this creative team. I really like Angel Medina's art (weird, because I normally am not a fan of the exaggerated style, but he draws an incredibly cool Spidey, and as I already mentioned, I like Aguirre-Sacasa's writing. 2) Spidey is my all-time favorite character, so when he is done right (a matter of opinion of course), I'm there. If you are a Spider-Geek like I am, get this book!Spider-Girl - Probably the end of the line for May at issue #100, but I'm encouraging y'all to get in for the finale. First of all, it's a really fun book, and it looks like it's gonna finish with a Hobgoblin arc (Kingsley, I might add). That and I selfishly want sales to boost to prevent cancellation. Probably won't happen, but here's hopin'. Anyways, try it to see what you've been missin'.
Hope these ideas are helpful, and happy 'shopping'! :)

I'd say you can't go wrong with Runaways and X-Factor. :)
