So, OVA3 is finished, however I saw somewhere a screenshot of a Chibi Tokimi Floating next to Tenchi...
So does that mean OVA4 is out?
Anyone know cause I couldn't find any info on it other than that one SS which I dont remember where I saw it now...

I think the Chibi Tokimi is from OVA 3 +1 (Episode 20), the Special Episode that came out only a few months ago in Japan.

The pics I posted of Chibi-Tokimi are from the special episode released after the main story was finished. The episode reveals that
Tenchi’s mother Kiyone was a prankster who did stuff like draw on Tenchi's face while he was sleeping. The episode also shows Nobiyuki's wedding to Rea. Tokimi showed up at the wedding in her chibi-form. Also a young girl Tenchi as had visions of shows up and reveals that she's Kagato's female side. Kagato was hermaphrodite but he split off he female section which eventually became the girl. She then merges with Noike.
There’s a far better episode summary here (http://tmau.fateback.com/) which is where I got the pictures. The fourth OAV probably won't be out for awhile since Kajishima has said that he'll be working on Seikishi Monogatari after the third OAV.

Funimation's delay in the last 2 Volumes collecting the new OVA was mostly due to them negociating for this new episode, and waiting for Eps 5, 6 and +1 to get released... anyhoo, this new episode WILL be included in the new DVD's coming out later in the year :)

Wow. I think you just saved me however much buying the rest of the Tenchi OAV's was going to cost.

RE: Does any one know if this show will ever come out on tv?
Tenchi Muyo OVA episodes 1-13 (comprising the 1st and Second OVAs, since third OVA had yet to come out at the time), the Tenchi Muyo TV Series, and the second spin off TV series Shin Tenchi (Tenchi in Tokyo), all aired in edited format on Cartoon Network's Toonami block several years ago. More recently (maybe a year ago), International Channel bought the TV rights from CN and aired all of the above mentioned uncut. International Channel also aired Tenchi Muyo in Love, Tenchi Muyo: Manatsu no Eve, and Tenchi Muyo in Love 2, which are the three movies. No word yet on if IC will ever repeat the series.
RE: what does OAV mean i have seen it alot lately?
OAV means Original Animation Video. Alternatively known as OVA, which is just Original Video Animation. This refers to a series that is usually shorter than a TV series, running as short as 1 or 2 episodes and lasting usually no longer than 13 episodes (Tenchi is a rarity, currently at 20 episodes). They typically have higher production values than TV series episodes; in Japan, they are meant to be released direct to video/dvd (as OAV implies), and usually do not air on Television.
