I love this comic, but the wait to read this story all the way to the conclusion is killing me. Does anyone know how long the series is slated to run? And anyone know of any on-line annotations for the book that they'd recommend?

Has there been a second Trade yet? I have the first, absolutely love it, and wanted to collect the whole series in the same format, for consistency.

Yes, Volume 2: Sacrifice was released quite a while ago.

This is indeed a great series. I haven't read the second trade yet because reading the first one was sort of daunting. Of course, I'm kind of stupid. But I found it to be a really compelling yet dense read (maybe because of all the characters).
That's a compliment, by the way.
Good stuff.

Because I get so many titles (well, seems like that to me!), I'm actually a little grateful for the bi-monthly...even the quarterly titles. What usually happens is that a new AoB comes in, and I get to re-read the preceeding two or three ("the cake") and then get to read the new issue, "the frosting"!
Don't know how many more issues we'll get, but I'm hoping for several years' worth to come...heh, well, okay, that's about 12 more issues, I suppose, but for me, well worth the wait.

I finally picked up the second trade - (I waited for the soft cover - then didn't realize it was out :o )
Age of Bronze: Sacrifice (Volume 2) was a very compelling read. Couldn't put it down.
Eric Shanower really did a great job of characterization . . . and the plight of Agamemnon re his daughter - and they way he weaved that together - was brilliant.

I haven't gotten volume two yet, but the first one contains amazing annotations.

Don't wait until this series is over to start it. It could go on for YEARS. Just read the volumes as they come out. I'm lucky enough to have gotten vol 1 in HC (signed) so I'll be buying it in HC only from here on out! And worth every penny! :D
