Burst Angel - What are your thoughts?

I got a preview DVD with episode two of it a while back and it looked pretty good so I decided to buy the first DVD.

Has anyone else seen this and if so what do you think of it?

I watched the first 4 DVD's. The animation is decent, but not excellent. Gonzo definately cut back a little, but it's still colorful.

The character designs are HOT! Jo and Meg really get my nose bleeding! Babes oozing at the seems, but the story really doesn't pick up until halfway through the series. Even then the story is simple as it follows the tride method of babes, mech fights, Angels saving humanity, etc. A sissy boy who wines a lot and cries like a girl whenever theres danger. It held my interest but didn't blow my skirt up or anything.

The CGI is pretty well done and integrates almost perfectly, but I think they could have emphasized a bit more on the plot than on Meg's bustline. Not that it's not a good thing; but we definitely need more Sei. :D

I've never seen it, but I remember a thread on another forum where someone with a username with "Inuyasha" in it made a thread about Burst Angel, and asked if anyone liked it, and some guy said, no, it's horrible, and you should hate it if you had any sense. Then the guy who made the thread said "Well I like it", then the guy said "Well that's because you're an Inuyasha fan and thus you're easily entertained by shiny things with no substance".

It was kind of funny but kind of rude at the same time.

Anyway I don't know why I just typed all that.
