So, a few years ago I got onto a Hellboy jag, and busted out the attached. Then I went soft on it for a while, perhaps because of the movie, who knows. Anyway, I fond myself digging through some crap in my room -- under a box of old boxes, you know, really, after the holidays you end up with a box of boxes... Strange? So, I found this box of books, under the box of boxes, and start digging though it, and find the art of the movie book (I love that freak Ogdru Jahad piece on page 25 -- Barlowe -- and that Samaritan is still so sweet), and the art of Hellboy hardbound (what a nice gift to myself). So, I start paging through it, and it strikes me how loose and sweet Mikes stuff is, what a awesome style... So, I thought I'd do some new stuff, like the one above with the nutty starfish worm. I did Hellboys head in a jar and posted it somewhere around here. I'll pop it up again perhaps...

I love Hellboy drawings! Now I try to read the book "Odd Jobs" and I translated it partially. Your drawing is very nice. Now I'm thinking to make another tatoo of Hellboy to myself.

So, yeah, I found that head of Hellboy in a bucket drawing again. Hope no one cares if I post it for a second time. What can you do when your not thinking all that straight? I was going to post another drawing I've been fiddling with, Hellboy with some new crap on his belt hanging out with a Mad Madness Tenticaliss (or temtlelesser?), but didn't get it done, so will put it up tomorrow. Not sure how long this spat of HB is going to last. Might like to do something with a, you know, SiFi theme. Well at least one more in the pipe. Get to crunch crispy a beetle bug bong.
