We've gotten every other season and movie(recently shown on Fox Family) I don't see why not? :D But I'll only watch it as long as Weedee Lee is still directing and doing the translations like she did for the last 4 seasons(she's one of the *few*people that tries to keep the english version as close to the original as possible, unlike the jackasses at 4kids).

Well, the names of the main character's Digimon have been released.

Agumon returns as the main Digimon, but with different Greymon evolutions - Geo Greymon. Ugh. Plus Gaomon/Gaogamon which are problably some sort of beast Digimon. Lalamon and Sunflowmon - plants. And a chess themed Digimon - Pawn Chessmon. Who would presumably evolve into something like a Knight Chessmon, or King Chessmon.

I'm annoyed that Agumon is coming back.

I'm annoyed that Agumon is coming back.

As long as they give him a different voice actor (unlikely for the American dub, if/when it comes out) and don't make him act exactly like the Agumon of Seasons 1 & 2, I'll be cool with it. It would have been nice to have a new lead like Dorumon (from one of the games and manga), or maybe even a non-dino-like Digimon for the main lead, but I'll takes what I can get. If this hits it big, we may get more seasons, so they've got all my support as long as it doesn't suck.

Digimon Frontier was my favorite season. Agunimon is the most kick ass Digimon ever(props to Bloopinator for his cool as hell icon)!!! Why do they have to go back to frakin' Agumon on the new season?? We needs new blood, I say.

But even better, the scans reveal the plot, and the names of the characters! Masaru is the main character, and he's in the second grade of junior high (and apparently, he's never lost a fight). His father was a leading researcher of the Digital World, and now he's gone missing. DATS is a secret national organization calling themselves the Digital Special Investigation Corps (presumably, there's some translation of that that can be acronym-ized into DATS) that Agumon has run away from. He and Masaru meet up and so on. The last sentence is confusing me a bit, but I believe it says something along the lines of Masaru and Agumon and DATS are causing and solving problems, but the real truth of the matter hasn't yet been made clear...

Or Sawamura Seiji, or Hanabishi Recca, or a abunch of protagonists from various shonen anime/manga really. It's an archetype, the rough-and-tumble middle schooler/high schooler who secretly has a heart of gold. Admittedly it's a new thing in the Digimon franchise though.

It doesn't start airing in Japan till April. No word on a US dub, but seeing as how Disney still dubs the movies in just the past few months, I wouldn't be shocked to see it on ABC Family in six months or so.

I'm curious about one thing. Since this is a Digimon thread after all. In the Digimon Frontier. That is the one where the people actually merge with armor type digimon right? If so, what happened after they encounted the dark lord? The one who ruled those 2 powerful knight digimon.

They didn't quite merge with armor type Digimon. They used these things called Spirits, which were essentially the leftover bits of dead Digimon. Kind of like wearing an animal's skin and becoming that animal or something.

If so, what happened after they encounted the dark lord? The one who ruled those 2 powerful knight digimon.

Lucemon? Well, Magna Garurumon and Kaiser Greymon finally kick Rhodo Knightmon and Dynasmon's asses. But it's too late and Lucemon revives anyways. Lucemon kicks the whole team's asses by LOOKING at them so they end up running away to the moon. But then Lucemon evolves into Lucemon Falldown Mode (bad translation at work, the Japanese version of "Falling" angel) and pretty much takes out them and the moon. Then he kills Kouichi, which pisses off everyone, and Kouji gets the Spirits of Darkness which cause some freaky reaction in him causing Takuya and Kouji to use all the spirits to evolve into Susanoomon.

Lucemon then tries to go into the human world to eat it, and shrugs off Susanoomon by evolving into Lucemon Satan Mode. But the Three Great Angel's ghost reappear out of Lopmon, Patamon, and Plotmon and reinsipire the kids and all five of them merge into a super-de-duper Susanoomon which drags Lucemon back to the Digital World by force alone.

They then procede to pretty much hand Lucemon his ass by summoning giant god dragons of thunder to hold him down while they cut into him with a giant beam gun. But some bit of him survives and tries to attack the kids. But Susanoomon splits into the ten Human Hybrid Digimon who have apparently been revived into some form of life by getting some of the kid's life energies. Anyways, all ten of them blast the last bits of Lucemon to bits which causes the Digital World to begin restoring. The kids say goodbye to the Digimon and they return to the real world, where it turns out that Kouichi has been in a coma from falling on his noggin, but luckily Kouji has his soul in his cellphone and restores him. And everyone lives happily ever after.

Plot Information (Episode 1 Summary)

A young boy who enjoys fighting even more than the 3rd serving of rice - Daimon Masaru. On a certain day, before a fight that Masaru had been training for, a strange dinosaur-like creature appears. This strange creature, "Agumon", is a "Digital Monster" from another world, the "Digital World". Masaru and Agumon agree to communicate by fighting. However, Agumon had escaped from and was being chased by an organization which investigates digital phenomena, called "DATS (pronounced 'dats')". DATS attempts to recover Agumon from Masaru. As Masaru and Agumon are chased, they run into the Adult stage Digimon, Cockatrimon. Seeing its enmormouse form ignites Masaru's combative heart, and he challenges Cockatrimon to a fight. Upon striking Cockatrimon, a "Digisoul" forms in Masaru's fist. When Agumon recieves Masaru's Digisoul, he evolves into Geo Greymon and defeats Cockatrimon. Commander Satsuma of DATS, after reviewing the events around Agumon and Masaru, formally appoints them as scouts for DATS. Thus, the captain of the school's fight club, Daimon Masaru, and his partner Agumon, join the fight against the Digimon which are threatening the world's borders.


Daimon Masaru
Junior high student who likes to fight better than the 3rd serving of rice. When he meets someone that looks strong, he can't help but challenge them to a fight. After meeting and defeating the Digimon "Agumon" in a fight on a certain day, Agumon becomes his partner. Because of his latent powers which allowed Agumon to evolve, he becomes a member of DATS.

Tohma H. Norstein
The 14 year old child genius who has graduated university. His ability is considered elite, even within DATS. He bases his operates on data and theoretical principals, and as such, his personality clashes with Daimon's. His mother is Japanese and his father is a prominent Australian aristocrat.

Fujieda Yoshino
The crimson point of Masaru's team. She acts like a big sister to Masaru and Tohma. She is shrewdly respectful, she considers it her job to push Masaru and Tohma, her ability level is very high, and she has a strong trust for her companions. Her favorite phrase is "palanquin set with jewels" (a woman who marries into wealth).

Agumon (Daimon Masaru's Partner Digimon)
He adores Masaru, after being defeated in a fight by him while escaping from DATS. He follows and acts like Masaru, as if he was an older brother. His special technique, "Baby Flame" is to spit flames from his mouth, and he can evolve into Geo Greymon by recieving Masaru's "Digisoul".

Gaomon (Tohma H. Norshtein's Partner Digimon)
Tohma's partner who calls him "master" and follows him without question. An Elite Digimon, like his Partner, Gaomon is both cool and intellectual, end he evolves into Gaogamon.

Lalamon (Fujieda Yoshino's Partner Digimon)
The Plant Type Digimon that is Yoshino's partner. Special technique is Nut Shoot. Thanks to Yoshino, it excels at relationships between man and Digimon, and is reliable and tied closely to friends. Evolves into "Sunflowmon".

Anywa, this new info sounds exciting, although we still don`t know why Agumon escaped from DATS.

It's likely that they only let him live because he can connect as a partner with masaru.

Wow this looks like it might be really good I just hope for the last episode they do something amazing (you know what they did with the first digimon movie having Omnimon that and I need to see miotismon and Marine devimon)
