I've got chickenpox. People 29yrs old should not get chickenpox, but I have them. I'm ok, but its uncomfortable as all hell. Just wanted to share or vent or something like that.

I got chickenpox at what alot of folks thought was a late age at seventeen. T'was so bad, I had painful sores in my mouth and throat, add to that getting delirious with a fever (found myself in my mother's bedroom at three in the morning telling her I was being experimented on in a secret lab in the mountains...)
Man, you have my sympathies. Good luck and get well!

I'm very sorry to hear about your Chicken Pox dilemma. I got them at the age of 18 and was out most of the Summer between my Jr. and Sr. years of high school, so I feel your pain also. Get better soon!

I hope you feel better very soon Tequilawyrm!!
Having chicken pox sucks no matter what age you are. I had them twice. Luckily, I was younger when they happened so it wasn't nearly as bad as having them when you are an adult.
My only advice, just try not to itch!! I knew its hard not to, but if you do itch they will only hurt even more and their is a higher risk of them not healing properly, which can result in scarring.

Could've been worse. Could've been shingles!!! Hope you get well soon, pal!
(Glad I got the chicken pox out of the way at age 9!)

Man, that sucks, T-wyrm! Take Tylenol and watch lots of gripping movies to distract yourself. Oatmeal bath products like Aveeno also help to relieve the itching.
I hope it resolves quickly!

I've been pretty glued to X-Men Legends 2 on the Playstation. I love the game, it's like the old gauntlet game with superheroes.

I watched sooooo much Bob Ross in high school. Smoke up, watch Bob Ross or turn the tv volume down, the radio on, and watch Body Shaping with that Hawaiian girl....

Doesn't remember much except that there was a girl who would come to visit her grandmother who lived 2 doors down from us that looked exactly like the girl playing Anne...
I woulda thought you were glued to a Bob Ross marathon. :p
Bob Ross was more of a MiddleSchool/HighSchool thing for me. If I wasn't forced to watch a quilting show my mom wanted to see.
Twyrm: Gauntlet ruled! My Brother-in-law got a gamecube for his girls and found a "classics" series with loads of that era game on a disk....It was fun playing Gauntlet with my bro-in-law and our 2 neices under the ages of 5
