I always get a kick outta funny stories and how it impacts real life. Plus I'd love to get a few teachers feelings on this since they work in the Public School system . So here goes....
This story happened a few years ago. For a lot of us we know the story and we have pretty much gotten a huge laugh from it. This story takes place in New York and features a man named Matt Striker.
Striker was a public school teacher and had worked a few years at that. Of course Striker had a secret. He was also an indies wrestling sensation who would do cards in his spare time and on the weekends !
One day Matt faced a problem. There was an overseas tour in Japan that was gonna pretty much pay him very well. The only bad part was his job. So Matt decided to do what every great American does at some point in thier lives......he lied like hell.
Matt said his sick sister in California needed his attention and the school gladly gave him paid leave as he went to Japan. No one knew...until Matt started putting crap on his website and the N.Y Public School system found out months later !
Poor Matt was busted. He was fired and was ordered to pay the school system back for this. Whats so humerous was Matt Striker " Indie Wrestler " by day worked as a public school teacher and the school system never knew .
So what do you...the Educators think of this old tale ?
Ohh...and don't feel sorry for Matt Striker. He's currently employed by the WWE and is getting over as what else....a School Teacher onscreen. The WWE plays his whole " adventure " at milkin the school system as fun lol. ;)
