7. Lois Lane- I certainly wouldn't pick a fight with Lois

Don't know what Power Girl has done to merit being rated so high in terms of just her toughness.Granted,she did survive almost being killed by the Grey Man's forces,but that was with help.

Wonder Woman as well as Black Adam have made her look pretty small.See Justice League Quarterly #11 for Diana & the Black Reign arc,IIRC,Hawkman #25 for Adam.

Anyway,I think when one talks of toughness,as opposed to raw ability,warriors or martial artists are likely going to fare well.

Damn, I was going to do the same only for Wonder Woman, you beat me to it :(. I mean Wonder Woman by far is the toughest imho. The woman permantly blinded her self in order to beat Medousa. And then she went and took on the whole justice league to prove she hadn't lost it, then she takes on Zeus champion and wins, and then descends into hades to retrieve Hermes, and all while she was blind. If that ain't tough I don't know what is. As for the rest of the list...hmmm

By tough I mean overall skill in battle and how well they use their powers/fighting skills while in battle.

Some people's lists really shouldn't have Lois Lane. I mean, she's a tough cookie for a common woman, but I mean, c'mon. Compared to the likes of Maxima, she's really weak. The DCU can't be so underpowered that some random reporter is among the 10 toughest in the entire universe. :p

I don't think Livewire has been mentioned yet. *zap* :)
