This is awesome news. Kurt is a wonderful writer and has written some of my favorite books in the past (Avengers, Power Company, JLA/Avengers, Superman: Secret Identity, Astro City and Arrowsmith). Superman will be in great hands with him writing.

And Pacheco is one of my favorite artists. I've loved his art since that JLA/JSA OGN and followed him to Arrowsmith, Superman/Batman and Green Lantern (the only reason I picked up that book). He's a great choice for Superman and especially because he's working with Kurt again.

This is great news! I hope this run goes well past the 12 issues they've signed up for.
