Buried Alien

In the past, I used to refer to the numbered Pre-COIE parallel Earths as Earth-1, Earth-2, Earth-3, etc.
I have since learned from the COIE COMPENDIUM (from ABSOLUTE COIE) that throughout the Silver and Bronze Ages (up until COIE), those Earths had always been written as "Earth-One," "Earth-Two," "Earth-Three" (i.e. spelled out rather than numbered).
This seemed like a trivial difference until I realized that while the Earth of Kal-L, the JSA, etc., was Earth-Two, "Earth-2" (with the number) was the Grant Morrison alternate Earth featuring the Post-COIE version of the Crime Syndicate of America.
So as a convention, it might avoid unnecessary confusion if we use "Earth-One," "Earth-Two," etc., to refer to the old Multiverse parallel worlds and reserve "Earth-1" and "Earth-2" for Earth-DCU and Crime Syndicate Earth in the context of Grant Morrison's JLA work.
Not insisting on it, just a suggestion. :)
