i did a quick search here and couldn't find any direct mention of this aspect, so i'd like to ask you people...
where are the rest of the people who were in the "heaven" created by Luthor of Earth-3? in kingdom, when superman-1 is shown trying to break the barrier, there are people in the city down below...
were they only constructs? will they show up again?
thanks in advance,
Rio.

I'm pretty sure that Didio and several others have declared Hypertime and The Kingdom "out of continuity".
Gog got rebooted with a new origin when he showed up in ACTION COMICS (and Superman had never heard of him before).
Also Superman and Batman met a future Superman who dressed like the Kingdom Come version and neither of them seemed to recognize the outfit.

Yes, Didio said this. Yes, Didio said this. But in the recent sojourn of Paul Levitz for the heading of the JSA, but in the fight between Dr. Fate and Mordru they had been necessarily shown in such a way to the future of Kingdom Come how much the Universe of The Nail.

So?
Alternate timelines exist. Doesn't mean Hypertime does.
Also, Kingdom Come existing as its own universe doesn't mean that The Kingdom happened.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm pretending none of that Kingdom crap ever happened. DC should let Alex Ross do HIS version of the Kingdom. It would have been better. It was about the origins of the KC characters, as well as focusing on the secret identities of the DCU heroes in the modern day.

Regardless of the status of Kingdom, I think DC is pretty much glossing over the nature of what existance was supposed to be like for these 4 characters. Just saying it's a "paradise" wouldn't be enough to convince ANYBODY to just head out, especially if they don't know who else is going to be there.
Now, don't get me wrong, if this was the Matrix, I'd be quite happy as a living battery, thank you. Keep me in the Matrix. So if you told me "You're going somewhere where you'll be surrounded by contructs that will give you interesting adventures and conversations for the rest of your life" - I'm there. But just "paradise" doesn't really tell me enough.
In other words, apparently all these people expected to do for the rest of their lives is talk to each other and watch the "real" world (or if they have access to TV, watch the Real World). What the heck kind of existance is that?

A pretty freakin' sweet existence, man. You could watch anything in the DCU. ANYTHING!!! Hell, if I was any one of those guys, I'd get a brew, kick back, and watch the Amazons 24/7. I hear they... do things to each other late at night.... :evilsmile
(No wonder why the Watcher's always got that dazed look on his face... ;) )

What I never understood is if the paradise is inside Alex, how can he also appear there inside himself?

I think he said he was a portal to there. IN COIE12, he said he didn't have enough energy to open up a portal to Earth-1, but he could open a gateway to somewhere they would know everlasting peace.
I think he created what it would be like, but it was just the four of them.
DC wasn't going to ever use them again, so it was supposed to be them riding off into the sunset, never to be seen from again...until now.
