I know that DC got the prelude mini's out pretty quickly after they were done, has there been any word on if DC will do the same for the main story of this whole affair?

We'll probably know more when the mini-series is actually finished.

DC would get to own my soul in exchange for a Absolute Infinite Crisis:The Complete Story (Featuring every mini, tie-in, and one shot) multi-volume boxed set...

I was thinking it would cost his soul, first born, five years of his life, 20 minutes with his signifigant other, and dinner and a movie.
But seriously folks, I hope after the one shots are done they collect them in a TPB or rerelease the minis in TPB form with the specials added in alongwith a synopsis of what went on in other books that link a one-shot to the mini it follows.

The last major DC mini-series, IDENTITY CRISIS, has yet to receive the trade paperback treatment (only a hardcover so far, and that took almost a year).
