He's got this mutant army of zebra men, and by the end of the movie, Magneto and Xavier are revealed to actually be the SAME GUY!

It's the High Evolutionary and his animen! And then Krakoa, who is a small asian boy in the movie, comes in and kills both of them, which drives Jean crazy, so she goes to Subway and orders a SUPER fatty chicken sandwich, which pisses off the Phoenix and creates Dark Phoenix.

Halley Berry pulls a diva act after X-2. Poor me, I don't have enough screen time. It doesn't matter that my character sucks in these movies and I brought down every scene I'm in. Me, me, me, me, me, me, me.

And it looks like they caved in to her and she'll be all over this movie. :( Thus ensuring its going to SUCK.

Famke does look quite impressive - which I didn't expect.

The rest, narrative aside, really hoping there won't be as much Stormisation as it says. Bear in mind, that even if this is an honest review, there's still bound to be quite a bit of editing past initial previews.

I read about 15% of the spoilers and well........ I hope most of this is BS. Infact I hope everything I read about this is BS. I am still going to go see the movie because I'm my own judge but this review has me worried, A LOT!! I didn't think the first 2 movies were that good, infact the first one suck but if the third film is like what this review said, well sadly enough we still have the first 2 films to watch. :(

I've read the article- and i have to say, it didn't worry me all that much. There wasn't anything in here that i ddin't know from reading other older spoilers, and most of it has been public knowledge long enough to get over it.

If these types of changes were made in the comics, i'd be concerned. But it's a movie- the last movie, probably... and it can afford to take a few risks. I think it's kinda neat that the film makers are just GOING FOR IT, and putting all the craziest crap they can think of into this movie. They probably realize it's the end, and want to have some fun block-bustery eye candy.

Do i think it'll be as good as X2? Of course not. But i bet it'll be at least as good as Fantastic Four, which despite all the critics reviews ( i don't listen to critics anyway, but that's because in my years of experience i find i almost ALWAYS disagree with them) wasn't that bad of a movie in my opinion. In fact, fan reaction to the film was pretty positive, i'd say. Even fan reaction to the X3 trailer was positive. So i see no reason to believe that despite what someone who saw an unfinished rough cut of the film says, fan reaction won't be positive after X3 opens.

If you look at it as it's own entity- despite what certain plot elements are- it's basically just another alternate reality for familiar characters to play in. And as far as i'm concerned, as long as they get the characters right (which for the most part, they've done so far) i'll be happy with whatever story they choose to throw at me.

A lot of the things he says seem to be him annoyed his favorite characters wern't doing anything. This review if anything made me more excited for the movie.

They had the script for "X2", and sprinkled in some truth in some "tidbits", but either withheld The Phoenix-revelation, or really didn't know much about it. If they withheld the ending of "X2" in "2002", why are they "rebels full of spoilers now"? It's a "new day" with new possibilities, but I doubt it's much different than for "X2".

X3 does have about a month with no real competition, but these other films that are coming out within the month leading up to it will chew viewers. DaVinci Code especially.

IMHO, the review looked like a whole lot of BS. LIke you said this review didn’t say anything new; it just repeated the same thing you can find on any X-fan message board. Besides, AIC is not a very reliable source when it comes to spoilers, which is probably the reason the article was removed

I have to agree with everything you said here. Also what Wolverine/Rogue relationship is he talking about?

I don't know. AICN gets a lot right, IMO. It doesn't break it down to every detail, but their advance reviews of HP4 were spot on.

Granted, I knew people who were at that very same advance screening, so... *shrug*

Anyway, the article sounded fairly legit to me. So he commented more on what he thought was lacking (in context of what he wanted to see). So what? We ALL do that. And AICN is full of fanboys who do that left-and-right. He hated on Storm being everywhere, and on the notable lack of other characters.

Given that there are at least 10 new "side" characters in X3, what do you anticipate?

Chris Claremont is a writer, not God. I don't go to movies to see cameo appearances of people.
