I asked for an end to random threads without much of a purpose, beyond uping post count.

Name one. Generally what I do is take someone else's thread and fuck it up.

Sam I Am: Fact or Fiction? (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=102652)

World's Coolest Animals (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=102484)

JWK Canada Bound? (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=99723)

Why Do Superheroes Wear the Same Clothes Every Day? (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=99772)

I like cheese (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=95800)

Are My Powers Evil? (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=95329)

New Things Done (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=94394)

Doodah Parade! (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=93315)

Here's a few from the first three pages of threads that you started.

Are any of them worthless? No, of course not, but I can't find a one of them that is any more worthwhile than DanH's "I asked for" Thread. Well, maybe "Doodah Parade" or "I Like Cheese" had the potential to become classics but were wrongfully ingnored.

Like I said,I enjoy your silly ass threads, but you have no room to be calling anyone on starting "random threads without much of a purpose, beyond uping post count"

If you have any doubt. compare your post count to someone like DanH's.

MOD EDIT: Seems a bit more of a PM-type of deal.

I'd say that since the Sam I Am thread and the JWK thread were based around news articles, they have more worth than DanH's thread.

Fair enough.

But, the challenge revolved around naming one.

I feel kinda bad about calling Stonegold out since he is going through some tough times with his job (which he has started more than one thread about), but c'mon, the idea of him complaining about someone starting a silly thread is kinda foolish.

That and DanH should be encouraged anytime he starts one that doesn't mention wrestling.

What thread is this thread referring to anyway?

... than DanH's "I asked for" Thread...
...than DanH's thread....

I assumed it was DanH's thread because of the above, but that could be wrong. I get the feeling this was split off from another thread... again, could be wrong.

Hey, with the exception of the cheese one, which was me just retitling a post I made in the wrong forum, all of those threads were either stuff I pulled off the news, or stuff that actually happened to me, not random email forwardings I decided to post on the board.

EDIT: Or the superhero one, but as that actually pertains to the board topic, I figure that actually counts.

I'd rather have Stone's threads because he at least participates in them once they're up and going. Some others just do a random drive by thread start and then disappear.
If you think its worth starting a thread then you should damn well participate in it.

Huh?

Does it really matter? There are so many threads on this board everyday, that if one is stupid, it is usually off the first page by the end of the day. I don't read every thread anyway, so I avoid a lot of the dumb ones right there.

As to DanH's thread: I saw it, and yeah I thought it was dumb so I didn't post in it and I promptly forgot about it.

Anyway, that is my 2 cents.

I forget, did I participate in the monkey cowboy one? I might not have, but that one took off pretty quick in a direction I didn't expect.

I think you responded to a post; and it did move way south quickly.

I don't know about south, but I had pretty much exhausted my freaky animal supply in the first post.
