Ok, you slackers, here's a list of upcoming movies if anyone wants to try a little movie meet up in the future since I didn't give enough notice for Underworld.

Pick a movie (or movies) that might work for ya as they come along. No hurry by the way. If six months goes by before everyone gets a free day in their schedules, no biggie. I'm a very patient stalker, er....I mean person. ;)
Before ya know it, Wizard Con Chicago 2006 (and Glamourcon) will be here! :D
(I'm including Indiana because if you live close enough to the Illinois border, you can drive to one of the Metra stations and take it all the way into Chicago...but if that's just too darn far, I totally understand)

Well if you would come up here I would be more then happy to see a movie with you.
But I cannot see driving through Milwaukee and Chicago. I think I would have a heart attack.

I'm barely able to get out to a movie with my wife much less friends. Seeing as how she's having baby #2 in a month, its not like my odds of getting out of the house will increase.
Pencil me in for Wizard World Chicago though.

Mandy and I went last year. If someone is interested in giving me a ride count me in too. Last year I meet Mandy a mall and we carpooled.

I was THIS close to going too. It turned out that I had my church picnic that same day you guys went. I was my congregation's President-elect so I HAD to go. :(
For aforementioned reasons, there's no way in Hades I'll be able to go to San Diego this year.

Dude, I live north of Chicago in the city of Fox Lake, Lake County, IL. (You drove all the way to Wizard Con Chicago in Rosemont last year which is farther south then where I live...I'm actually closer to you guys then Rosemont, ya silly goose)
The only reason I included Wisconsin and Illinois together is because I believe one of Chicago's Metra lines goes all the way up into Milwaukee. (or maybe Kenosha?) If anyone in Wisconsin lives near that line, I could pick em' up at one of the Lake County stops once the train passes south into Illinois.
I don't know. Maybe we all live too far from each other. Guess I thought maybe the train might be an option. http://metrarail.com/System_map/index.html (the UP-N line)
I'll definitely be at Wizard World this year too. :)

If I ever manage to get my financial situation out of the toilet, Kit & I will try to get to Chicago for the Wizard Con. Haven't been able to get in for that since the divorce, but we keep hoping!

I'm better off doing a movie as more a spur of the moment thing. I am trying to get down to see Greg Proops at Zanies in Vernon Hills just before my birthday next month. and there's this little comic show this weekend I'll be at

I'll try and figure something out. Though I'll be at WWC this year as well. I was there last year, but I didn't run into anybody from here. I ran into some guys I knew from Michigan though. And of course I spent the day playing Heroclix.
With the movies, I'll see what I can do and where I can do it.

I don't care about Missouri. ;) (teasing)
Just out of curiosity, how long a drive does that usually run you?

Dude, I work like two minutes from the Zanies in Vernon Hills...but sadly, I've never been there. (they allow smoking I believe like most comedy clubs) I love Greg Proops. I hear him on some of the radio shows I listen to sometimes. I hope you have fun at his show.

Seriously guys, no hurry on this. If any of us get a chance to get together before Wizard World Chicago, cool. If not, no biggie. No pressure! :D
I'm pretty sure I won't be able to make a trip to the San Diego Con anytime soon so I thought I'd try getting some of the midwestern folks together in the future.
Anyway, if anyone would like to hit a movie or some other activity in the future, just put an update here.
Have a good weekend guys. I'll let ya know how Underworld was on Monday. ;)
