For Chris Taylor, however, the only cloud on his horizon was that his girlfriend did not share his fondness for the eight-year-old African grey he had bought as a chick.

But if relations between Suzy Collins and Ziggy were always on the cool side, it seems fair to say that now they must be deep frozen after the parrot's mimicry revealed the existence of Miss Collins's secret lover, known only as Gary.

Ch-Ch-Changes !!

Yep anytime you get a parrot it usually means your relationship is fucked. I mean why not buy her a turtle to show you care. Funny story....I wonder if he'll stay mad when he walks around a Gary. ;)

I assume this is the reason for the Denise Richards/Charlie Sheen split?

I always wanted a parrot. They're cool especially cause they do stuff like this.

It sounds like the parrot was by far the greater loss.

Anyone else want to know how the hell this made news? I mean, cute story, but unless the reporter actually knew this guy, how the hell he found out about it? Not really the kind of thing you put out a press release about.

Indeed. You want to start seeing someone new you first break off the old relationship.

Should this be true, I feel really sorry for the parrot.

Totally. The Telegraph is not exactly known for its groundbreaking stories; and scanning through the article, the feel gave me the sense that the writer could have easily made the whole thing up. Which happens VERY OFTEN with web articles.
