Are there any pictures of Jean as the Phoenix out, yet? I heard that FX is working on special affects for the Phoenix and that Phoenix is BY FAR, going to be the most powerful character we've seen in the X-movies. I also heard that Ratner wants to do some justice to the Phoenix, which is why we are going to see the Phoenix raptor as well as the Phoenix effect.

I was just wondering, since I read somewhere that the special effects for the Phoenix are going to be absolutely amazing.

Besides, is Famke good at playing a villain, since Jean is suppose to be evil in this film? Just wondering, thats all.

hav enot seen phoenix clips or anything.

But something tells me they would go more with Ultimate's Phoenix than 616.

Meaning: The phoenix is just Jean's raw poteinal, unleashed with it's own thoughts/ideals.

They haven't released any Phoenix images yet.

Yes Famke is good at playing a villian. She played a villian that got off to pain in one of the James Bond movies and she played a troubled villian of sorts in the second season of Nip/Tuck.

In the movies the Phoenix seems to be Jean's mutation and further evolution.

Actually, they show her blow the doors of the X-Mansion's med lab off the hinges, and if you do a freeze-frame where Magneto, Mystique, Pyro, and Juggernaut are standing in the forest, Jean is standing off to the side in a red leather coat/dress.

I think she has the potential to do it well. Her performance in X2 is far better than in X-men and she said herself she's been dieing to run with it and once Singer told her she was going to die she was very happy to have something to work with.

I would love to see the Phoenix in full effect, but I'm a bit dubious about it in X3 considering she's been placed with Magneto. We'll see.

Welcome to the boards, Supes35!

We have one all-inclusive thread going for any X3-related topics called, "X3 MEGA THREAD - Put anything to do with X3 in here!!" You can find it here. (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=58775) It usually hovers around the first or second page of the X-boards.

I don't say this to be picky. I'm telling you this because one of the rules on these boards is to make sure you're not creating redundant threads. Anytime new X3 info is released or a new question arises, the boards tend to get cluttered with multiple X3 threads. It's kind of an ongoing problem.

Several "special effects houses" are working on the film now, so probably no "insider" will know more until April...

Yet.. Something seemed to be guiding her near the end of "X2".

Famke was a GREAT villain in James Bond, her name was Onatop (funky name) and she killed/ crushed men while having sex with her with her thigh-bones(!!!) and was really getting a kick out of it. Also while fighting she had a really mean smile on her face the whole time. That was soooo cool

I heard FX has its own team working on special effects for the Phoenix. To my understanding, its going to be simply amazing.

So, I hope they don't disappoint. I hope the special effects for the Phoenix are MUCH better in X3 than that cartoonish shit they showed in X2, with the Phoenix effect.
