If it's true, (which is questionable) then I'm not excited. T3 was a tired retread, so unless T4 really wants to go in a bold new direction (maybe showing the actual war) then who cares how many times Arnold gets sent back in time. Seriously, how many time machines do they have? And since the T-1000 was made of metal and could come back, why does Arnold always have to be naked?

I don't think they are going to go back in time because the war is out so Arnold will probably not be naked, what a relief.

if anything arnold shwarzenegger is tired,i deffinately think they should concentrate on the war with DIFFERENT actors playing the terminators.

T3 sucked and shouldn't even be mentioned by people. Unlike T2 which is a damn classic these movies should stop. Unless James Cameron is behind them....just say No to Terminator sequels.

the critics loved t3,...............it wasn't a bad movie but it really didn't do anything different either.

Well that's why it was good...it was a plain old pop-corn movie. Action, stunts, lame plot. Ah it was like being a kid again.
Movies today are too long, too computer generated and trying too hard to say something meaningful.

If they are going to change the T-X they should change it to Natalie Portman or Jessica Alba.

I agree. And having John Connor killed off (in the future) and that's the reason why a Terminator was sent back in time!? Didn't he survive the war in T1 and T2? IIRC, Reese said John WAS the one who sent him back, not anyone else.

There is only one in the future and both SkyNet and the Resistance have used it to send people back.
All of the evil Terminators were sent back before the Resistance captured the time machine; all of the good Terminators (and John Connor's father) were sent back by the Resistance. There are an unknown number of evil Terminators heading back to kill John and Sarah Connors (and the future Mrs. John Connors).
Nothing metal or plastic can travel back in time unless it is encased in living tissue. All the Terminators have human skin. In the case of the T-3000, the human skin could be split apart and absorbed by the nano-tech "liquid metal" then reattached the same way.
If a human tries traveling back in time wearing clothes, glasses, artificial limbs, etc., they will lose those items and arrive naked. If they have fillings in their teeth they'd better keep their mouth shut.

I thought this change was done cause the rights to John Connor (the name and/or character) were held by someone else, so they wanted have a loophole to use John's wife instead.
In any case, I look at it like this: all John and Sarah had to do in part 2 was stop the T-1000. History would have went exactly like we saw in glimpses from the first movie, and the flashback at the beginning of the second. History would have remained intact. However, they took it a step furthur and tried to prevent Skynet from even being developed. THAT is what changed history drastically. Thanks to that, that's why the changes we were told about in part 3 happened. True, all it did was set Skynet back by about ten years, but that was enough to upset other things in the timeline, too.
Or, its possible that as soon as John sent the T-800 back in time (for T2), he was killed by another T-800, whom his wife reprommed and sent back in time herself (for T3).

Wait you have a problem with that plothole and not the one the entire franchise is based on?
H*ll thats minor compared to how it all started.
