Also try to include some story of how they could be intergrated back into the universe. For instance...

Mutant Ability: Touch causes others to shapeshift into his desire, including, but not limited to, demonic beings, animals, and other human beings. After their transformation, Kalina has mild control over them.

Kalina herself is visually a hybrid of a former supermodel (and Miss Philippines) and a scaley yellow, brown, and green beast. She has useless wart-like objects all over her arms and on various spots of her very curvacious body. She possesses gills, webbed feet, and hoov-like shapes on her fists.

Personality: Kalina is a fighter at heart. She'll use her powers on her fellow teammates if necessary, especially if she feels her teammates are weaker on their own. She disregards others feelings but is very sensitive herself, oftentimes having others calling her a hipocrit (call the Spelling Bee Police!). However, she has redeeming qualities in that she is an avid volunteer for various charities and helps out at local hospitals when she can.

Powers: The ability to manipulate the emotions of others and use their emotions against them. For example he could have a really nice guy go into a berserker rage and lash out at those he cares about or cause a brave person to be afraid of his own shadow.


Weakness: His powers only work against those with low willpower and they are useless against telepaths. If he uses his powers against a strong willed person or a telepath then his powers could backfire on him.

After he uses his powers he would suffer an anxiety attack for a short period of time.


Personality: Not interested into the superhero gig. He just joined so that he would learn to have better control with his powers and to see if he would find his true purpose in life.

He would sometimes prefer to spend time to himself but he is not afraid to hang out with the other students when he has the time and, while hanging out with other students, he can be abit of a smart ass.

Mutant Powers: Spade is able to read the basic mathmatics that construct the universe and manipulate them, theoretically making any event, no matter how improbable, happen. This power has allowed him to become the perfect human being, that is, a human being who's entire physiolocial body is working at 100% of it's potential. he can run faster yada yada but he does not have any strength or anything beyond what a homo sapien is possible of (ie he's not as strong as collosus or as fast as quicksilver, homo supieros). He realizes the potential of his powers but has yet to develop them fully.

Backstory: Spade was found in Atlantic City by Xavier, where he was using his powers to beat the house in every casino. Xavier knows that Spade has a hit out on him by a mutant mob boss in the city and is their to try and persuade SPade to join the X-men in exchange for warning him. Spade intially refues. Later on he is shot in the head at point blank range and survives. He awakes in the hospital only to be confronted by Nick Fury, Xavier and Reed Richards who are there to determine just what exactly Spade is, a mutant, meta-human or something else entirely. After test are Spade allows Xavier to read his mind and Xavier tells him of his potential as a team member. Spade joined the X-Men and has been somewhat at odds with the rest of the students. He often disagrees with Professor X's teaching methods, perfering to teach some of the children "street smart" lessons, such as the time he used his powers to defeat all 12 members of the chess team simutaneously, in an effort to warn them about being conned by organization such as the Brotherhood. Latley Nick Fury has been aproching Xavier about experimenting on Spade with super soilder serums to unlock his vast potential. Xavier has repeatdly refused his requests saying that if Spade lost control of his powers the physics of Earth could start to warp. He is also secretly conserned with the thought of the cocky Spade gaining God-like powers. While Xavier trust's Spade, he feels that Spade is to trusting of some people, espicially people of the fairer sex. Que Spades meeting with a gorgeous woman who goes by the name of Mystique...

Bio: From Taleno's knees to his feet is only a fading shadow aura where his limbs used to be. After a horrible accident as a child left him unable to walk on his own, he began using his mutant powers to assist him--giving him almost the feeling he was a king on his throne. Barely 18, he is willing to do whatever it takes to regain "real" legs again.
Powers: Ability to create creatures from shadows.
Augmented by Apocalypse: Shadows of living beings that cross his automatically create a "shadow form" duplicate of said being.

PESTILENCE BLACK SOUL
Real Name: Marcella Cortez
Ethnicity: Filipino
Orientation: Heterosexual
Marital Status: Divorced
Bio: Following her divorce, Marcella's esteem came tumbling down. Constantly a joke because of her plus-sized body, it all became worst with the late development of her devastating and uncontrollable power. She denies that this is her power. She believes she's fighting a curse placed upon her in a past life. She's a hater of mutants and has shown signs of racism and homophobia.
Powers: Emits a psionic aura that sickens those around her; glowing purple body.
Augmented by Apocalypse: Can transform various particles of energy aura into transferrable strands of various diseases; can discharge these energies in the form of concussie blasts as well.

Real Name: Jamar Nill

Orientation: Gay
Marital Status: Single
Bio: A good natured guy, Jamar's only reason for joining Apocalypse is his belief in his destiny. Easily amazed, he's searching for a bigger future and sees nothing bigger than Apocalypse.
Powers: Can temporarily kill a person once at a time for 24 hours.
Augmented by Apocalypse: Touch kills a person temporarily for an extended period of time; unless body makes contact with intense heat the death becomes permanent.

FAMINE GREENHOUSE
Real Name: Nevada
Ethnicity: Italian
Orientation: Lesbian
Marital Status: Single
Bio: I'm too lazy to type a bio. This took longer than expected.
Powers: Ability to control plant-life and animals; can transform into various animals or human-animal hybrids
Augmented by Apocalypse: Destroys the nutrients and vitamins within living beings upon contact, causing victims to become very weak.

Here's a few charaters I created years ago when I first became an X-Fan. I can't remember what civilian names I gave them though.

Renegade

Powers: Can summon energy around his fists that he can discharge as energy bolts, or can increase the strength of attacks with his fists. He can also create energy shockwaves of varying size by slamming the ground with his energized fists.

Personality: An overall nice guy with a bit of a sardonic tongue. Has the makings of a future in leadership if he applied himself in that direction.

Uniform: I had originally give him more of a streetclothes type look. Generic shirt and jeans, an aviator or blue jean jacket, and a bandanna. Hey, it was the early 90's. Not sure what I'd give him now, but I'd like to keep at least one aspect of his original design.

Misc. Fact: He was the first original X-character I ever made.

Timeskip

Powers: Can temporarily (at this juncture, at most five or ten seconds) freeze time. At the moment he likes to use it as an ersatz version of super-speed in a fight (example: As someone is about to attack, he freezes time to dodge or run around the person).

Personality: Childhood best friend of Renegade, he's a happy-go-lucky freespirit and wisecracker. The whole "mutant who's hated and feared by those he protects" thing doesn't bother him. He sees all this as one great adventure, and he's right in the middle of it. He's also native american.

Uniform: Again, the primary jeans and t-shirt look, going with a trenchoat and a baseball cap (being a Southern California boy, I tended to draw it as either a LA Dodger cap or a California (now Anaheim) Angel cap, depending on my mood). Look, it was the early 90's, and I was a young teenager, I liked that type of look for some reason.

Arctic

Powers: Ice Manipulation. Unlike Iceman, she doesn't "freeze up" when using her powers. She can project ice beams and snow from her hands, as well as craft ice objects. One side-effect of her powers though, is that extended use of her powers will temporarily alter her personality. Literally making her "colder". She'll become more arrogant and snotty, as well as emotionally distant from others, and how much she overextened herself contributes to how long her personality overhaul lasts.

Personality: Aside from the side-effect of her powers. she is usually very atheletic and outgoing. A talented singer and musician, she spends her downtime writing songs and playing her guitar.

Uniform: Actually, I don't even remember what kind of outfit I gave her.

Wild Thing

Powers: Has photographic reflexes. Any type of fighting style he sees he can duplicate instantly.

Personality. Abandoned as a baby, he grew up as a feral child in the wilderness, raised by animals. He tends to act like the animals who cared for him, primarily wolves. Will occasionally act like a feral, rabid animal when angered. His english isn't very good, but he'ssmarter than he often sounds. Curiously, he also has naturally enlarged canine teeth.

Uniform: Keeps his long hair in a ponytail (he refuses to let it be cut or trimmed), and wears a pair of shorts. That's it. No shirt, no shoes, just shorts.

Misc. Fact: He was heavily inspired by Gau from Final Fantasy 3/6

Powers: Can summon and bring to life whatever she draws (to aid this fact, she always brings a sketchbook and pen with her everywhere she goes, but she can use this ability on any medium in a pinch, even dirt via a stick)

Personality: A young tomboy not afraid to speak her mind (with a temper and mouth to match). She's a gifted artist excelling in sketching, drawing, and painting. Has an incredible imagination.

Uniform: Again, I can't remember what kind of outfit I gave her.

Misc. Fact: The youngest character I created. Heavily inspired by Relm from Final Fantasy 3/6

In response to the lack of a threatening Brotherhood team in a while, I've created the Outcasts. They are mutants who represent a mutant supremacy dream, but in a way also represent Morlocks that they also enjoy seclusion because they've been prejudiced by humans and mutants alike beyond the X-Gene level.

They still have good hearts and are more wreckless than the X-Men, but are not bloodthirsty. Their dedication to their cause, and to each other, however is unstoppable and unbreakable.

Their goal is simple--they are counterparts to the Brotherhood but not sided with them: they want certain political statements heard. The try to mediate between the two teams (the X-Men and the Brotherhood) so that certain dangerous political figures do get assasinated but that cities of people are still left unharmed.

Therapy [Eva Oliveira]
Brazilian female
Powers: Ability to probe minds for minor or major mental disorders and amplify them to an extreme size, oftentimes temporarily giving her opponents schizophrenia, paranoia, or other mental disorders from small personal problems

What's her deal? She herself suffers from bi-polar disorder and clinical depression. Teased and isolated as a kid, she's only found comfort in her teammates. She's extremely untrusting but very caring. She continues to take meds, but it is possible that she could someday use her powers to reverse the permanent effects these disorders have on her body.

Tenant [Naveena Amunet]
Egyptian female
Powers: Ability to separate her essence and possess a large amount of people. However, when separated, various sides of her often hidden personalities take over. Because of this, she must consciously keep desirable and controllable personality traits. As a result, she is very shy and reserved.

What's her deal? She used her powers without restrictions when they first manifested. But when she was outed as a mutant, she tried to possess her entire class at school to erase this newfound knowledge. Every different emotion she's ever felt went into nearly 30 children, one of those feelings being suicidal, resulting in the death of a student. Constantly keeping herself in check, she knows that her dominating emotions must only be those that are focused, intune with each other, and serious.

Value [real name unknown]
African-American male
Powers: Ability to deteriorate others health gradually by touch. However, the longer he keeps his power active on a single person, the more his health deteriorates as well. He has a gradual healing factor as well, but with his powers and his own illness, it does very little to help him in the long run.

What's his deal? Value is sick himself, but refuses to reveal his ailment. He's left his name in his past so no one could track him. He's one of the few members who isn't entirely dedicated to the group's cause as there is so much more he is searching for before his inevitable demise. He's a very self-loathing individual who believes his powers are what are killing him. His extreme Catholic upbringing oftentimes makes him feel like its his own fault.

Vines [Seven]
African-American female
Powers: Control over plant life that allows her accelerate their growth, control their movement, and expand their size. She also has pockets in her arms that produce and release seeds of her choice. She has also developed power over earth and a in-tune sense of her environment. She has control over her metabolism which allows her to grow to immense heights or to a small form.

Unfortunately, all this power has their drawbacks. Not only is she allergic to most plants, she also feels a fraction of the pain the plants she grows (only from her seeds). In addition, when she changes her height, her vision and mindset remains as if she were normal sized for quite some time. Because of this, it takes time of adjustment between transitions.

What is her deal? She's a lovely curvy woman. She had a great childhood, a loving and accepting family, and great friends. However, she's been discriminated at every level--whether for her mutant abilities, her ethnicity, or her size. She's uncompromising but also has a very low self-esteem. Her family believes her new stance is extreme, which it is. But she wants to finally be at peace with herself in every aspect--and with these people its the only way so she feels she must conform to their direction in life.

Screwdriver [Jose Quierre]
Puerto Rican male
Powers: Psionically project his intelligence combined with limited telekinesis allows him to quickly assemble simple machinery, walls, or other simple objects out of anything.

Examples are he can gather small grains of sand to create a large wall instanteously or even insert and insert screws when needed. He can disassemble shoes to threads of string and rubber and quickly reassemble it as well, etc.

What's their deal? Straight out of the pages of Romeo & Julian, he and his starcrossed lover, Jake Schwartz, have lived in the most conservative place in the South. To escape their families, they've joined the Outcasts.

As you can see, some do not have it as bad as others, but they still came together in unity. Their links with each other is that they're all running and escaping from something--from judgement.

The Glitter Princess
Real Name: Dolores "Lola" Palomar
Ethnicity: Spanish
Orientation: Drag Queen
Marital Status: Single
Bio: Domingo Palomar always felt like he was different from the other boys. When he saw some of Pedro Almodovar's movies, though, he realised how different he wanted to be! He was already a cross-dresser when his mutant powers manifested, and he run off from home after he discovered that his mother was borrowing his eye-liner without asking! He wasn't Domingo anymore...so he stayed permanently in female clothing and changed the name into Lola. She was soon accepted in Xavier's Institute for Higher Learning.
Powers: Can generate sentient glitter clouds. They can be formed into loose weapons or follow orders, or they can simply be used to temporarily cloud and blind the opponents. Lola is also a martial arts expert, seeing how her daddy was running a martial arts school. She's trained in ways most experts aren't and she possesses a man-killing feather boa that's stylish and can also be deadly in her hands! :D

Argentinian-American Female

Biography:
Being a mutant was a dream. She was chosen. She was special.

"Demsa" was able to generate artificial psionic life from her chest, most notably beautiful pink butterflies. The eight-year-old girl would run in fields, chasing the beauty she produced.

However, "friends" at school began to ask for requests and she herself began to create animals and creatures from her desire.

She excitedly tried to imagine creating a white horse for her to play with. She had never produced something so large before and had been 'creating' all day long. She was tired, but she kept pushing herself.

Out of a portal in her chest came galloping a beautiful horse. Unfortunately, the size and power it possessed left Demsa's body lifeless--the front of her body completely torn apart.

Observing from afar, her careless mother, father, and older brother, all who paid her no attention and her possibly dangerous mutant abilities, watched in horror. All three were eventually committed and the horse never found.

Years later, "Desma"'s dead body was found again at the side of a road nearby the facility her family was being held in. Now sixteen, the older version of a deceased child confused police officials and scientists alike and the mystery was never solved.

By the time Desma was to be twenty years old, she had emerged from wherever she was hiding, alive again, seeking help at the Xavier Institute.

Powers: Desma is supposedly a psionic entity residing in a shell [her body]. It uncontrollably breaks through her body through her chest and stomach into various creatures--ranging from one large creature to millions of tiny ones, leaving her body a torn mess.

Because of this, she now wears a straight jacket to keep it under control. She has short ranged telekinesis so she can unlatch herself to unleash her power.

After she transforms into a creature(s), her former body dies and she recreates a new one (whose shape she cannot control--it will resemble how it would look had she not destroyed it). Unfortunately, the time it takes to recreate her body can range from one hour to several years.

She hopes to someday be able to release the energy from her body (without it disconnecting from herself) and reabsorb it at will.

Personality: She's very dark and a sharp contrast to her former self. She loved her mutant power at first and was so happy go lucky, but she abused and overused her 'gift'. Now she believes her mutant power is a curse that has ruined her life and does not see her fault in the matter.

Before arriving at the Institute, and between times she had reconstructed her body, she has been chased by policeman and anti-Mutant haters, giving her a very bitter and untrusting attitude. She is not an angry person towards the world, however, but very fearful of everyone.

Enchantress

5'10" blatino female. "curvy" 150 lbs. Light brown/dark blonde hair. Eye color shifts with her emotions.

Billie Frank

empathy, and empathic manipulation.

Growing up all over America, due to her impoverished family, she grew up lonely and having the need to be loved, took to a music career. She gained quite the audience, using not only her voice, but also, inadvertantly, her powers.

Approached by Professor Xavier, she initially refused his offer, until one night, after a riveting performance at Madison Square Garden in her dressing room, two male fans, who was particularly affected by her emotion altering abilities, she was attacked and raped. Trying to fight back, she unleashed her abilities, and fired all of the psynapses in her attackers minds, leaving them catatonic.

Devastated, she secluded to the security of the Xavier Institute. While training to control her powers, she loses her record contract, and is forced to fight for a world that hates and fears her.

After M-Day, she's bound and determined to become the success that she was before that night, and is on the comeback trail, negotiating new contracts, writing new songs, and spending more time in the recording booth, more confident, more sure of herself, and her abilities.
