Anyone tried Marvel Adventures Imprint...

I saw them in a comic store and thought about buying a fantastic four: marvel adventures trade but I thought I would ask around first. I figure they will be simple stories not confusing story arcs.

Yup. Actually, the zero issue of FF played like a continuation of the movie, right down to the characterization of Doom and the humor. I buy this becuase it feels reminsicent to the vibe of Lee & Kirby, given the "in" cultural jokes and nice, short stories. :p
The most recent issue (8?) actually had a Lockjaw story which did NOT include mopey retcon Inhumans!

I read Marvel Adventures Spider-Man back when it used to be Marvel Age Spider-Man. I didn't like it at all. The series just moderize the Lee/Kirby stories. Too old school for my tastes.
