It is 20 years later, and ET has returned to Earth with his alien bretheren. Elliot and his family are the first to greet ET. As Elliot holds out his hand for ET to shake, the alien chops it off with his version of a sword! He then disembowels Elliot's mom in front of Elliot. As Elliot tries to hold in his mother's guts with his new stump, he screams, while shaking his fist at the heavens and scowling, "Why ET!? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!?"

So opens the first sequel to ET, called ET: Conquests.

The movie would mostly be ET and his race taking over the world, and Elliot's spiral into insanity as his most trusted friend's betrayal kills most of his family, and kidnaps his sister (Drew Barrymore of course). ET really was an advance scout in the first movie.

The next movie, ET: Elliot's Revenge, chronicles Elliot and his rise as the leader of the Human Rebellion Alliance. Near the end of the movie, he encounters ET's "harem" and the impregnated women therein. Elliot sees his sister in pain, as she clutches at her swollen belly. "Elliot, it's eating at my insides!" she screams as she coughs up blood!

"Kill me Elliot!"

With a tear in his eye, Elliot empties his SMITH & WESSON 76 9mm SUBMACHINE GUN into his sister and the rest of the impregnated women. Soon he finds ET and an hour long sword fight scene occurs, with Elliot as the winner of course. After beheading ET, he eats ET's heart to gain his powers. Unfortunately, ET guessed he would do this so he ingested a substance only poisonous to humans. The movie ends with Elliot foaming at the mouth and dropping dead.

There was a young adult novel that was a sequel to ET. It's been a long time since I read it, but I think one of the major scenes involved Elliot's first erection.

LOL......I do remember reading a book about ET's 2nd return. He was a teenager or adult and was gonna marry the girl he kissed in the 1st movie. It was funny to read it then.

Will the game of these sequels are as good as the first ET game by Atari? That would be great.

The only E.T. sequel novel I know of was E.T.: The Book of the Green Planet (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0743216407/ref=pm_dp_ln_b_1/102-0813249-0871318?n=283155). I've owned it for ages, although I've never read it. But as it takes place on E.T.'s home planet, it seems odd that it would involve a scene with Elliot.

Spielberg wrote a treatment for a sequel called E.T. II: Nocturnal Fears (http://www.filmbuffonline.com/ReadingRoom/ET2.htm), which had an evil offshoot of E.T.'s race.

And last year there were rumors (http://www.darkhorizons.com/news05/050719e.php) of talks for an E.T. sequel, with E.T. returning to visit a grown-up Gertie.

Would ET play the villain in one of those awful Charlie's Angels remakes? Gertie became an actress & has her alien friend on the payroll...
