I've probably seen at least 250 documentaries on big cats in my lifetime. Lions, tigers, leopards, snow leopards, cheetahs, lynxes, and even bobcats.
I haven't seen one, or even a significant portion of one, show devoted to North American or Florida cougars.
Why are they left out? Is it because they have them in California and are used to them? Are they hard to track? Uninteresting? Do the western states and Florida not want to remind their people that they are there?
I think the tan/golden version is native to South and Central America also. Why haven't I seen any pop up in documentaries about parrots or Amazon tribes?
What have you people done to them?
