Apparently Marvel's dropping its licensing with Toy Biz in favor of Hasbro. Goodbye Marvel Legends... at least, in its current incarnation!

Hopefully the new lines will be a little more interesting, over the last couple of series of Marvel Legends, I've only gotten 1-2 figures, if that. None of the others have been at all interesting to me.

What, you mean you don't want a 23rd version of Wolverine or Iron Man? :p

I hope they don't make each toe moveable. It gets anoying trying to stand those darn things up with their feet being so jointed. Arrgh! I don't want each finger and toe jointed. I want them to be able to hold their weapons. Try keeping Thor's hammer in his hands! Too much articulation sucks.

Actually they are just changing manufacturers , from toy biz world to Hasbro ... the designs and lines are still going to be from Toy BIz , a different entity (owned by Marvel)

From what I could find that last semi announced wave is Series 15 and that is due out in October. In case you want to know here is what is planned for this series:
Series 14: 1st Appearance Iron Man
Longshot
Baron Zemo
Luke Cage
Falcon
Psylocke
Series 15: Mandarin
Beta Ray Bill
Moon Knight
Spider-Woman,
Quicksilver
Thor Buster Iron Man
Wasp
Captain Marvel
Now mind you these haven't been confirmed yet, just saw these names floating around. I really hope they do get made because Series 14 looks like it could be another build a figure and I don't know what Series 15 is. Here is hoping these are true and do get made.
Edit: I also noticed that Big Bad Toy Store also had a preorder up for Twinpacks which include: Kingpin vs. Daredevil, Hulk vs. Leader, Captain America vs. Red Skull.

As for this news, definite bummer. I'm just praying they get Series 14 done, with Longshot and the build-a-figure Mojo, before the split takes place. Because if not, damn.

Guys, cool it. A little friendly ribbing is fine, but there's such a thing as "too far."

That's really all I'm interested in out of those sets and only really because I get every Iron Man figure they put out. I'll take a look at Moon Knight and see what it looks like and decide, at least.
At least there aren't any more Wolverines!

If that's true, that might not be so bad. Potentially better distribution, anyways.

Isn't Hasbro XXXXX these days.
I bought my kids some Star Wars toys, and they like fall apart.

Hasbro's been a great deal better these days. No clue what figures you bought. :)
