For anybody interested, a few of us were going to get together for lunch on friday. I was thinking around 3 or 4. What does everybody else think? :D

We'll be in touch anyway Nick, so I'm sure we'll be talking about this as it gets closer to the day. :)

What does everybody think about 3 by Mike's table? That way those of us that are staying can still hit up his panel.

Nick W.-I won't be able to make it on friday. I have to work and we are swamped with work right now. Even Saturday is not a sure thing. I will try my best to make it for a day. :(

Aww that sucks Gene. Hopefully saturday'll happen for you. If you do make it we could still go grab a brew... I should never be too far from Ryan's table btw.

I did not get to do lunch with Nick since he was doing 'touristy' things during the day. But we did have an evening meal at this sports bar which has a good selection of brews: Nick's flavor of the day was Anchor Steam, a local brew, and mine was Guinness. Poor Nick, he had to watch me stuff my face, which I garauntee is not a pretty sight. We talked about Mike and the state of Hellboy and where it is heading. It is not everyday that I get to 'talk' Hellboy with a real person, so it is always nice when I have someone to discuss Hellboy with.

See you again next year Nick. I also look forward to meeting the people from this board. Until then...

Dang, ain't that the truth. :) Even among a group of like minded comic fans, you'll be lucky if you all share interest in the same comics or the same genre subjects. For instance, the three guys I was hanging out with on Friday morning didn't really share my interest in Hellboy. One of the guys Charles has a Hellboy piece in his collection, but didn't seem to be a true blue fan like myself. Needless to say, we talked Original Art for a bit, but I didn't get to rattle on ad nauseum about all things Hellboy the way I'd wanted to. :) I did that later with Nick W. when we met up at Mike's table. :D
