View Full Version : Where are the Australians and everyone else on the other side of the world?

It's prime time in Australia right now. Anywhere between 4:50 and 9:50 PM. Same thing for other people in different parts of the world other than North America. Just why aren't you posting? Does that mean you do the majority of your posting in the morning? Freaks. Also, what the hell is up with those places where it's times like 7:20 and 8:20? You can't just bend time to whatever suits you.

I'm here in NZ in the summer. I'm too tired to post often and I have a strange fear of telling bad jokes.
So, I'll be back when I'm alive and kicking.

I don't know. Maybe more folks are posting from work these days?

Justin Davis befuddles:

Um, what? Where's that?

You're not talking about the places where, rather than either of those, it's really 7:50, are you (I forget...somewhere in the Canadian Maritimes?)?

One day I'll have to watch an episode. Then I would know what the hell you're talking about, then make the funny. :o

They always put it on at crappy times when I don't get a chance to watch. Plus, didn't it change channels or something?

Yeah, it's on Ten now. They're actually showing it! What a concept!

EVERYBODY knows the only way to watch a TV series is by playing it late at night and constantly changing day and times it's shown. Especially when you stop showing it at all until you feel like it.

I'm not sure that Paul's quickie comebacks are something to be in awe of.

As for me, I sometimes post from work, but usually somewhere around 10:30pm to midnight AEST (australian eastern standard time, with daylight savings factored in somewhere as well...).

Since I've been off work for the past three weeks, I thought I'd be posting a lot more, but then my old PIII went and died. I think it must have had a power spike, as both hard drives are fried. I dragged out my mothballed PII, but that took hours on a dialup connection just to load the main CBR page. I finally bit the bullet and lashed out on a new PC this weekend. Nothing flashy, but workable! So, you're stuck with me in the wee small hours!!

Sigh. Everyone knows there's no such place as Australia. It was just a fiction set up to help sell Paul Hogan's career in the 1980s.

Then the rumor is true. That the British sent their crimials to detroit.

First item at the cash register with the new PC. Canberra has a really stable, modern electricity grid, and I survived 7 years with two PCs and the same hard drives before this, so it took me by surprise. But I won't be caught napping twice.

Normally i come here in the evenings but since its school holidays I have nothing to do so I sit on the internet all day and watch horrible summertime tv during prime time.
At least we finally got Veronica Mars. :)
