I am sure there has been a thread like this before but I am not very good at finding them.
Have you seen a ghost?

lol Ghostbusters. I need to get around to watching the second movie one day.
And note that I didn't say I believe in them. My name started me to thinking about them...

Exactly. Why would you want to sully those memories?

Depends on how you want to look at it. In 1975, Larry Storch, Forrest Tucker, and a guy in a gorilla suit starred in a short-lived TV show called "The Ghost Busters." When Ghostbusters came out, Filmation revived the show as a Saturday morning cartoon, which got the title Ghostbusters. When the Ghostbusters movie got a spinoff cartoon as well, they had to alter the title to "The Real Ghostbusters." Not that anyone confused the one with the gorilla for the one with Slimer.

I've seen an apparition once, when I was, IIRC, around ten. It was a gownded, transparent woman standing in the hallway of our home that suddenly manifested in the middle of a nightly trip to the bathroom.
Now, being an atheist and a fairly down-to-earth one at that, I'm not all that quick to classify what I saw as a ghost, but it sure freaked me out back then.

Yeah, the bullshitters. They at least know the difference between fact and fiction. The very religious and the psychogically unstable are more likely to believe strange things that can't be proven.

I believe that there is a great Goddess who is full of magical energy where I get my power from. I cannot prove it. It is very strange.
Am I psychologically unstable? I just find it strange that you'd say that. :D I mean, isn't believing in ghosts kind of a religion, it tells you where you go when you die?

I saw the blair witch, and documented it too. That bitch however destroyed the tapes, and killed me and my friends.
Now I can be on the Mtv movie awards......... :D

Emerald Ghost claims misdiagnosis:
Am I psychologically unstable? I just find it strange that you'd say that. :D
Yeah! It's not like he's talking about ME or something. :p
I've never SEEN any ghosts.
Felt plenty (oh, crap, is that Out of Context Digest bait?). Not so much "ghosts" per se as "presences". No telling what the source of THAT is.

Nope, never seen a ghost and don't believe in them anyway.
Banshee may be real though. I was telling a story about one that I had read or seen on tv to my brother and sister and my sister's best friend. It was close to midnight and just as I was wrapping up the story this loud and piercing shriek rose up out of nowhere. They almost jumped out of their skins.
