I was just wondering if anyone ever read the comic line he had?

Personally, I thought he was pretty cool, as was his costume.

He was okay.

Last time he was seen, though (in a Spec. Spider-Man comic) he had really gone to seed. Looked more like Nosferatu than Morbius.

I've always enjoyed marvels b - listers like Deathlok and Morbius. These type of characters arent always around so when they do make an appearence it's pretty special.

All of the Midnight Sons books (which Morbius was a part of) were dissapointing. to me at the time. I didnt like "updated" outfit they gave Morby. Looked like he was wearing trash bags.

I would like to see Morbius be a regular guest star in a Spidey book instead of trying to give him another relaunch and have it unreadable like the current Ghost Rider.

Love him...

He will be featured in the back-up story in the next issue of Amazing Fantasy.

Those are more like D listers... Ghost Rioder would be more of a B hero (after the A listers like Hulk and Spider-Man) but that's neither here nor there.

I liked his series... I liked it so much I tracked down a copy of Amazing Spider-Man 101!

My favorite look for the guy wa his Midnight Sons leather outfit. It just seemed to fit him better than spandex does.

You shouldn't be talking about what outfits look good while your sporting that Captain Ultra avatar.

Morbius had a good thing going for a while. Then for some reason, they had to change artists and go with what I'm assuming was supposed to be more of a goth look.. showing Morbius ultra skinny with a lion's mane of black hair.. it was just terrible work. I don't remember who the artist was.

They should never have brought Martine back from the grave, after she lost her Lillin influence she was just a worthless character.

Would anyone be interested in an Essential Morbius? Besides his appearances in the Spider-Man books, Morbius was also a regular in the pages of Vampire Tales and Adventures Into Fear in the 1970s.

Morbius is one of my favorite characters. He's a big part of one of my favorite "arcs" - the Howard Mackie-penned Peter Parker: Spider-Man that features Spidey, Morbius, SHOC, Hammerhead, Crown, and Hydra. Say what you will about Mackie, because some of it is true, but he really turned out a good storyline that time. (Of course, I was bummed that his follow-up was started and then dropped during the craptacular reboot period.)

I bought Morby's whole run on eBay, and I echo what a lot of people say: the beginning of it was FAN-TASTIC. The art was good, the characters were all great, the plotlines were awesome...then it just sort of got progressively worse and worse - the art deteriorated, it was plagued by too many crossovers, etc.

I still get excited when Morbius is used. While I don't pick up anything he's in (as I do for the Slingers and Phil Urich) he's in that next tier - titles I definitely give a look at (along with Sleepwalker).

In fact, I bought an old Venom arc that had Morbius and Demogoblin (another guilty pleasure) even though it was less than stellar. It was still fun to see those three tangle.

-Pav, who has a great idea of a Kaine series with Morbius as a supporting character...

I believe he's also one of the major characters in Van Lente's upcoming Marvel Zombies 3.

Beat me to it...Yes, he has been confirmed to appear as a member of the group that goes into the Zombie-verse looking for a cure.
