I just want to get that off my chest. Yes, it is I that is killing comic books! On my weekends off I hunt them down at the local LCS and hang the covers of my kills on the bedroom wall. The manager of my LCS keeps asking me not to bring in my elephant gun but bah to him I say!

Instead of spending my money on buying comics for orphans I spend them on airplane tickets. I travel the country so I can knock on the doors of comic book creators in the middle of the night and run away giggling like a little school girl. That's why so many comic books are late, I don't let the comic creators get a good night sleep!! How else can you explain Avengers Disassembled without including sleep deprevation?

And none of you can stop me! Bwhahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

My deepest, darkest comic sin is that I leave my recently purchased comics in huge pile next to my toilet where they are bombarded by dust and humidity. Every couple of months I transfer the pile to the long white boxes and often I find my books wrinkled and creased and riddled with water stains.

Well I am killing comics by not caring what JMS did to Gwen Stacy. And by being irritated by Chris Claremont's never-ending plots. And by liking stuff put out by big name Hollywood types like JMS's Supreme Power, Whedon's Astonishing X-men, and Hineburg's Young Avengers.

Also I am killing comics by thinking that Milligan's X-men is sarcastic and rife with satire and thus one should have a sense of humor when reading it. God forbid comic book readers should have a sense of humor.
